Lets hope that is the problem, but it does sound like Kenny is the only one who thought that yesterday, just about everyone else seems to think Doyle had a stinker.
Whens the next game?
Saturday
No McDonald either
The way he has played since being here that won't be a massive blow.
Maybe Kenny might just try something different rather than just another central midfield pairing.
McDonald and Doyle are fine but a number of the players around them must have their places under threat now. Griffiths, Sako and Henry must do more and despite some improved performances from Edwards he would not be in my team. I would expect Jacobs and McAlinden to start next week instead of griffiths and one of the wide players and I would prefer Price to Edwards
Can certainly see Griffo being dropped as it stands.
Not sure i agree as he is one of a few who can actually put it in the net, but he does need to be doing more than that.
KMac is just frustrating, ticks along in the middle but just seems to go through the motions quite a bit, would expect more of him really but not sure whether part of the problem is Kennys restrictions.
likely going to be Price and Edwards next week then but wouldn't be shocked to suddenly see Davis involved as Kenny worries about how little we controlled the middle yesterday.
Funny everyone else thought doyle had a stinker.
Doyle ddidn't add anything yesterday but has generally been a key player. But if he's going to play we need the wide players and cms contributing to the goals. I wouldn't mind seeing griffiths, mcalinden and doyle all playing. Doyle as an attacking cm with a dcm behind him.
Bit harsh on henry there dj. Before yesterday he'd scored 3 in 3. He's working his way back from injury so is going to be rusty. We need doherty back fit as they'd formed a good partnership.
Cm is the real issue, I haven't been impressed with mcdonal at all this season and edwards has been shocking the past 2 games and adds nothing to the team. On a purely footballing basis ohara has got to be a better option, the only cm we've got who can open up the defence with a pass
The problem is that O'Hara just isn't fit apparently, so i don't see him getting another chance.
I agree with your first comment as well, Doyle adds a lot but does not add goals, we need to find a way to incorporate him AND improve our goal threat.
The way i see it, we have problems in midfield so why persevere with a basic 2 in the middle approach, why not try a 3 pronged attack or Doyle behind a front two, no reason why it couldn't work to me.
Or Griffiths's 12 goals this season, only 3 have been scored whilst Doyle is off the pitch and one of those was a penalty. I think that shows how important Doyle is in linking our midfield with the attack. In my opinion, our midfield isn't wrong enough for us to drop Doyle and Griffiths looks all at sea when when Doyle doesn't play. I find that a bit disappointing as I'm sure Griffiths played as a lone striker a lot for Hibs, although that might be an incorrect assumption.
I would drop Griffiths for the next game and start McAlinden. Might wake him up a bit if McAlinden starts and scores.

Fùckíng autocorrect.
They have played more often together though Tam so that stat doens't really prove anything for or against really.
My concern would be that dropping Griffo now might just alert a few clubs and we could see things stir on the transfer front.
I assume you meant
fúcking wolfies correct not fúcking autocorrect
KJ isn't qualified to comment really.
He doesn't read the forums, or have the advantage of being in America (God bless it), reading BBC text while games are played.
I'd discount anything he says.
Watching Spurs v Liverpool at the moment. Cracking game. To think we beat these sides just a couple of seasons ago.
Who is discounting what he says?
But thousands of eye yesterday believed Doyle had a stinker, among many others.
Being the manager does not make him right
Bloody hell, i think Totton could beat this spurs side.
Thank goodness we sacked the manager and ended up in Division 3, avoiding the world wide exposure such games brought.

Yes - it's a cracking match, Cinci!
Ah thats better, glad you couldn't wait to start spouting cráp again, was this thread going along to smoothly for your liking Bute?
I mean, we were actually discussing the current situations at the club, how silly of us.
Leave it out now Butey, you really have to try and accept that many people didn't like the direction the club was going in back then and wanted to try going backwards instead.
The thread was about KJs explanation for events. I was ridiculing the opposing responses. I'm not naive enough not to expect such responses from the knockers, whichever side of the pond they come from, but reserve a right to equally ridicule anything that's clearly nonsense. Please respect my right to post , Cinci, and not automatically label my posts as cr ap just because they conflict with the views you have formulated from various forums.
