I hate to say it but we have to be patient and push on next season.

The trouble is that we say that EVERY season

Spurs have had a couple of drubbings, but are the only team in the country have won every cup game they have played this season
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Against who?

Exactly
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tromso, Some team from Georgia... Struggled to beat Hull...

Sorry, but that means fack all to me if we're getting smashed 5, 6-0 every other week in the league.

We're a fackin laughing stock and I'm facking embarrassed. I've spent over £120 to watch us lose 3 and 5-0. I'm sick of it.

The thing is I can't work out or see what AVB is trying to do in terms of how we play. I don't think the players do either. Can anyone shed some light on this?

How about we get Levy to pay to get Big Phil away from Brazil?
All those in favor ....

I'm as frustrated as any Spurs fan right now, Maybe you are right, but I can't help but have faith In AVB. I would back whoever is in charge of Tottenham at the moment as I have my whole life. I'll accept that the approach we are taking this season is negative but bringing Harry back isn't the answer and I don't think any of the managers listed in the OP will improve us. Laudrup is the only one I would even consider to replace AVB.

Sorry mate... No clairvoyants on this site

The only reasoning I can see for people wanting Harry back is at least we were exciting to watch

I don't think losing games to City and Liverpool are the problem. It's the manner of the defeats and the crap football played that has sealed AVB's sacking. I'd like Laudrup and a return to good football.

well now .... let me look at my crystal ball .... oh yes .... I see .... I see .... I see ...
Wot do I see .....
not exactly clear.... but AVB seems to be looking at a white board in the sky with lots of "0"s and "X"s on it ...... somewhat unrelated to wots going on on the pitch ... it seems.

Not sure about Laudrup personally... Loved him as a player though.

My vote would go to Hiddink but don't know if he'd want to come to spurs given his Chelsea connection. In general, I'd want a more experienced hand this time round...

But like you, I'm happy to get behind whoever

I would jump for joy at Hiddink but I cant see it happening.

I'm hurting as much as all of us. BUT screaming for a change of manager isn't going to help the cause. It's completely out of all our control so the most we can do is continue to support the club we love.

Its pretty obvious what AVB is trying to do...high line and inverted wingers, irrespective of the opposition, the players we have or whether we're home or away.

The one constant we need is the one thing he keeps changing...the starting line up. How can a team gel, or even get any confidence, when he keeps making so many changes?

He's stubbornly holding on to a flawed philosophy and trying to force it to work...unfortunately he's now coming across as a one trick pony and the opposition have worked out the trick.

Either he changes or Levy will take the decision out of his hands

Not a list of managers I want (bar Hiddink), no option for De Boer, or Simeone(bit hopeful)?

Edin

You can vote for either... I'll tally it up in the final results

De Boer might be feasible... Ajax are out of the CL...

De Boer then

But I dont want AVB out though

Bergkamp?

Only concern about De Boer is he's another high pressing game enthusiast.

If AVB doesn't bite the bullet and change his approach then I'd prefer to see an experienced head come in to steady things and get us playing again, Hiddink would be great but can't see it happening

I'm as p!ssed off as the next bloke but I can't help thinking this article sounds very ''Wenger out''.
Exactly the sort of thing we all criticise the g00ns for

If Levy pulls the trigger then fair enough I'll back whoever comes in but until then I'll back the manager and the team.

But whinger has had many successes with Woolwich whereas AVB has had no success in England let alone at Spurs

There simply isn't an outstanding, realistic, available candidate at the moment. Hiddink, maybe, but can we afford him? Better of sticking with AVB until the summer and then picking from a bigger pool of options at that point.
