Still reckon he could be temped back to the Pl.

How? He's probably handsomely remunerated, is at a big club with some quality players and has the last sixteen of the Champions League to look forward to. No chance he's going to give that up for Spurs, and, secondly, if the anti-AVB voices on here are anything to go by, the last thing we want is a defensive coach.

Can levy go too please? Or at least don't let him choose his eighth manager in 12 years

Could we bring back Juande Ramos and hope his English has improved since?

Not sure how much impact a number 2 has anyway. Freund brings enthusiasm at least. Glad he's staying.
----------------------------

A number 2 usually has a big impact but it's about the input he's allowed to bring in. We don't no what AVB's and Freund's arrangement was.

All I can say, is that Freund is a passionate and humble guy that's clearly valued and accepted by team. To suggest he's anything else is ridiculous.

Was Freund a number 2 though ? I never saw AVB interact with him during games. Only when we made subs Freund would pop his head in. Maybe calling him a cheerleader was harsh but it surprises me he has stayed.

I'm just pished off we have another transition period coming up. This season is a write off for me (again).

Who else can we blame for not getting the sack?

Kit man?

Drinks man?

Bloke who does the announcements at half time?

--------------------------------

He was presented as No 2. Why shouldn't he be?

Just because you didn't seen him interact with AVB all the time when they were shown on TV?

The fact Freund seems to have survived says it all. He's important to the team and Levy with the board value him as an employee at the club.

Good choice to keep him

Sad to say that we are closer to heading back to mediocrity than we are 'the next level'.

Only AVB couldn't organise a defence to save his life.Yeah Gala are in still in the CL but that won't last much longer and the turkish league is hardly of the same standard as the PL is it now.

You're being very naive/PL centric if you really think Mancini will give up a job he's only just started to take over at Spurs.

Crazy decision in my view.

Give a manager half a new team and then sack him when it's not going brilliantly after 3 months.

If Levy really wants CL football this is the calibre of manager required is all i'm saying

Mancini ? Oh yeah I forgot about the attractive football he used to play at Man City. He is in the Champion's League with Gala so why take a step back ? Next.

We were top scorers with the best defence our title winning season.

Imagine Baldini getting the job. I wouldn't put it past him to have planned all this.

He looks like a real old school gangster

54% - Andre Villas-Boas has the best win percentage of any Tottenham manager in the Premier League. Departed.

I'm sure once you take it back to Redknapp after his first full season, Arry will look better. The stats are misleading.

That's because you were quite frankly a brilliant team, Mancini was certainly a defensive minded coach.
