Klinsmann is another Premiership rookie (managerial wise), have we not learned our lesson from Ramos and AVB?

Laudrup may not have won anything (except the League Cup in his first season??) but he has proved he can make a squad of average players look technically good, and even brilliant at times.

If I were Levy i'd be straight on the blower to the Swansea chairman to get permission to talk to him.

I got loads of time for Klinsmann but if he becomes our manager we're screwed.

I spend a lot of time in Germany and he isn't exactly rated there.

Actually, even their brilliant World Cup run in 2006 most of the pundits put down to Löw, his assistant at the time.

No Klinsmann or Capello for me.
Hiddink isn't available anymore so we'll probably just have to wait for the summer until then I wouldn't mind Hoddle as caretaker.

Wrong. I just thought he was a poor, tactically inept manager, who was not good enough for our club - I do not rate managers I want on "character". I couldn't care less if our next manager is loud, arrogant, quiet as a mouse, mad as a hatter, or anything else - I judge purely on managerial ability - nothing else.

Chicken, if you had any human values then you would have some sort of sympathy for the guy especially as he's been our manager for the passed year and a half. You develop a liking for the guy and it's only because you hated him from that start that you have no sympathy. I'm saying it's the right decision he was sacked but I just feel Avb bought us some good memories aswell you know.

Don - I drove for 8 hours recently with my boy to watch the woeful Hull tigers or City game at WHL and all AVB could do was criticise the crowd for their lack of commitment to the cause !!!

I was ambivalent towards the AVB signing. But was happy to back the appointment.

I was never really a fan of AVB and have been critical of him for almost a year now.

But whenever he got things right, and he did on occasion, I was happy to acknowledge/applaud this. Even Grand a staunch opponent of the appoint acknowledged he was doing something right during our long unbeaten league run last season.

Did you give AVB credit for anything he got right in his spurs tenure?

I think we could all see these results weren't one offs, like they have been previous seasons, and that inevitably our season would probably be littered with them.

I would have given him maybe one more home PL game to see what happened.
