I'm working on a project to do with sports (can't obviously say too much) and I contacted all the football league and prem clubs regards accessing their database and/or them verifying season ticket holders.
Out of all the clubs only one responded, no prizes for guessing who.
Very helpful were wolves too. I didn't state I followed wolves, every club got the same email.
The project doesn't even provide the clubs will revenue they will need to pay me which says even more about the fact they were so helpful.
I thought it was disgusting that most clubs didn't respond though and just shows the sorry state of the corporate mind set running through all of football.
Even when, the project will help the clubs increase gates and turnover.
short sighted.
Footy set up is a mess, half the owners have main businesses other than a footy club which is just a status symbol for some it seems.

You can name some that don't?
In the "olden days" businessmen got into football because it was a cash business. Piles of money were distributed to directors after a game.
Many a time you would be at a match, and the "official" attendance bore no relation to what you witnessed.

Carefully selected is probably based on your post code as I didn't get one and I'm in Solihull
