Given this article, I think Villa are under your skin and thus have the bragging rights

There cost per trophy is better too

and they have a European Cup

Op forgetting Villa were pushing for top 4 under O'Neill. Things change quickly and if Spurs aren't careful they could fall away too in the coming years.

Didn't realise our record against you was that bad.

Over the last few years I don't think we have a good record against anybody.

With the seeming delight for their claret and blue buddies - west ham

Gotta take your hat off to Fat Sam

Only in last few years Tottenham have had such dominance over us. Pretty sure before 2008 we were winning at least the same against Tottenham than them against us. In fact:
2007-08: Villa 2-1 Spurs; Tottenham 4-4 Aston Villa
2006-07: Villa 1-1 Spurs; Spurs 2-1 Villa
2005-06: Villa 1-1 Spurs; Spurs 0-0 Villa
2004-05: Villa 1-0 Spurs; Spurs 5-1 Villa
2003-04: Villa 1-0 Spurs; Spurs 2-1 Villa

Villa won three, Tottenham won three. Most of them close. Pretty even. Traditionally Spurs wouldn't spank us. We've just become such a joke in recent years that you batter us home and away. That may continue, that may not, but with Tottenham's current predicament there is a chance that they could crash and burn. Wishful thinking maybe, but the signs don't look good. At least we look as though we've made some progress since last season whilst Spurs look like they're going backwards and their flirt with the top four may be over.

I agree that at this moment in time Spurs are the bigger club by some distance, but over the Premier League years, even with such inequity of recent years, I'd say Spurs shade it in terms of league finishes, head to heads and attendances, but they've also spent more money than us, particularly in recent years. In fact that is always what has held us back - lack of investment and lack of ambition.

This is something you can debate for hours, but to be honest I don't have any disrespect for Spurs as a club. What I do disrespect is some of their cocky fans who have wound us up for the last few years when the going got tough. That is why they deserve all the stick they're getting now.

Sure since the bust-up with O'Neill leaving Villa have endured difficult times. Mainly due to a need to rebuild without the money being there to do it easily. Most Villa fans would agree with that.

But there's something you've left out; the status of the clubs in their respective regions. So, with the top club first:-

Midlands
-----------
Villa
... the rest

London
---------
Arsenal
Chelsea
West Ham
Fulham
QPR
Charlton
Millwall
....

Think there's another London club kicking around the bottom but I can't remember who.
