The boring rafa tag is wrong. It may be dull the first 6 months because he plays in such a tactically rigid way. He builds from the back. During his best times with us though, we were top scorers in the Prem, scored over 100 goals in a couple of seasons. Set the then record for a CL group game result 8-0, went away to Birmingam and won 1-7,beat United 1-4 and Real Madrid 4-0. There were some great attacking displays.

To be fair though, you did have the awesome Mascherano / Alonso combo plus the mythical beast that is an insanely good Torres

That is true, but I think you have players at the club that Rafa would like to work with. Sandro and Paulinho, Eriksen behind a striker.
The key for you would be that Rafa would make you rock solid.

I'd love Rafa... as someone said above (might have been you) Don'e'll come mid-saeson considering he's doing well at Napoli.
Maybe we just need to write this season off find someone to just gus to finish as near to top 4 as possible and come back next year

He's actually only on a two year contract at Napoli with not the highest salary. So what, probably about a pay off of about £5m?
Maybe worth a try. Very unlikely though.

I believe this is what AVB was working towards
Need a manager that's won a major league inGermany, Spain, Italy or England and can speak at least two languages.
yeah just checked, would probably be about £4m with his salary £2.7m per year
Definitely not Hoddle. His man management skills are just as bad as AVB.
Rafa if we can get him, otherwise Laudrup.

Working towards it in a roundabout, concede 14 goals to 3 teams type way

1. Hod has not managed in years. How do you know whether he's changed
2. Were AVBs man management skills bad? he did little wrong at Spurs, the players seemed to love him, unless you are talking about Ade, who played up at every club he played for, and for Togo.#
AVB out
FdB in
Bergkamp as his assistant.
Shexy football dreamteam!
Jesus?
The club needs a miracle, Spurs are cursed
