On current form I'd much rather have Roberto, but really you need a couple of seasons to truly compare the two. Stylistically and mentality wise were better under Martinez but let's see how things go when the going gets tough.
I did respect Moyes a lot however running down his contract so he could leave in a free and then claiming he knew nothing about the united job was annoying.
Not really bothered if he succeeds if not either. Personally I think he's too tactically concervative to win a lot, he might get the odd trophy but that will be down to the brilliance of individual players (Rooney, RVP etc) than his own tactical nouce
Martinez. As soon as the jan transfer window shut I backed him to take over as all but one deal fell through. My only criticism Iis that he had the nerve to lie and sound shocked about getting the United job. He knew at xmas I am certain.
Good luck to Moyes, he will do well.
I liked moyes though he did a good job while admittedly wining nothing. Was disappointed when he left and wasnt happy to find out that it had been agreed in advance ( is that not tapping up?). When he tried to sign baines and fellaini for less than we valued them it didn't bother me to much as he was tring to get the best deal for the club he worked for. I wish him luck for his future just not at are expense. As for Roberto so far so good. Good football decent results
David Moyes turned us around from a club heading for relegation with no direction and gave us back our self respect. On a limited budget and having to sell his most valuable assets every season he kept us punching above our weight. For that alone I will be forever grateful and wish him the best of luck...
