Lomachenko has to hone his pro skills this year, plenty of fights but not against the elite as yet.

The guy has only 1 pro fight

Loma is probably gonna fight Salido next, if he wins that convincingly I'd say he's ready to be thrown in with the best

He still has a lot to learn, and an easy win over Salido won't teach him a lot.

You would ask no other fighter in history to get thrown in against the best after their 2nd pro fight.

Look at some of Rigo's early pro fights.

Plus they have to build his name up and those fights up.

Say if he fights Rigo and loses a wide decision, does little for Rigo's credibility and Loma's career.

Hmmm you've got a point I guess. I do think he's right up there with the best in terms of talent though.

He should look to fight about 4-6 times next year against top 15 opponents.

Come 2015 look to take on the big guns Rigo, Donaire, Mares.

Gamboa chin is dodgy plus he has looked awful in his last few fights. Would like Garcia in that.

Yeah Gamboa's chin does seem a bit suspect. He's untouchable when at his best though, I don't think he'd trade with Garcia like he's done with a lot of his previous opponents, he'd box on the outside.

Wouldn't be surprised if M.Garcia beat him though, he's a great talent.

What fights would you most like to see RGK?

Groves Froch 2 second on my list but the fight I want to see the most is Ward vs GGG. Kovalev Stevenson and Marquez Pacquiao 5 would be good too.

Paq v Muhammad Ali. D4 would justify it.

Mosley went from a shot fighter against Mayweather to a prime Mike Tyson against Pacman.
