He is managing the Dutch team, so you can ave him after the WC.
He coached Ajax, Barca and Bayern, winning trophys
The rumour is (facebook - so must be true) is that he has agreed to join after the World cup
And he is extremely bad with the press, the UK press will eat him for breakfast. He is worse then SAF.

Hmm, replacing the prince of stubbornness with the king would be an interesting decision.
Van Gaal could be a good manager for us has all the experience in the world and knows how to work with a DoF...
Never really liked him much though during his Barca tenure... Might have had something to do with having Kluivert (whom I hated as a player) lead the line

i don't see how we can say to sherwood that he's in charge for the rest of the season but someone else will take over then.

Why can't you?? It's done all the time... We've done it in the past. Hoddle is ready to do it... Then why would Sherwood, who has no business coaching a PL side, feel he's to big to take that offer
Think Sherwood, Ramsey, big Les will be in charge till the new year
I agree, it could be a good deal for Sherwood - From what I have seen already he is not going to do a bad job, if he does really well he will have launched his managerial career ..maybe to return again in a few years time.

I'm not sure why Levy is even looking for another manager at this point.Sherwood is the right man for now as he knows everything about the club as well as the problems we have had playing wise this season. He will be able to rectify the situation immediately
( eg..bringing Ade back). A new manager will need much more time to get to know the players etc and this will basically kill our season. As it stands we still have an outside chance of 4th place and appointing Sherwood is the easiest form of continuity.
