If this is true then get rid of him for whatever money we can. Let someone else deal with him. The injury situation at spurs is getting beyond ridiculous.

Not sure if it is injuries with him, Lennon has never really progressed as he should have. I have a feeling his best days are behind him at Spurs now. With all the new players coming in, doubt he can command a regular first XI spot now, even if he was fit.

He hit his peak ~2-3 years ago and has declined slowly since.

Now he can't be in the squad for more than 2 weeks without getting injured again. And when he does play, he looks very, very average.

At least Chadli looked good on the right yesterday.

I honestly think Chadli looked good on the right hand side yesterday, and I think he will stake his place over Lennon.

Our medical team is appalling: Huddlestone as an example was injured on and off for 3 seasons or something, yet he's managed to play every league game for Hull this season, and looks fit as a fiddle.

I read he had some abdominal pain/injury on twitter yday.

To be honest Chronic i personally would never have Lennon in the 1st ever unless we had to. I don't see what the hell the guy offers and i also don't get the love he gets from so many spurs fans. Yes he works hard and tracks back but going forward which is his job as a winger he literally is f ucking useless. Runs like a headless chicken then cuts back but never puts in a decent cross or assist. Great squad player but maybe a blessing in disguise that he is injured because it gives the likes of Chadli and Lamela a real chance to prove themselves on either wing and get a decent run of games together.

'I read he had some abdominal pain'

My missus has the same thing on a regular basis.
All she needs is a hot water bottle and it's sorted.

topgeezah, completely agree mate.....atleast when Towsend was not doing his stupid cutting and blazing it over the bar he was actually looking dangerous out wide and put in some really dangerous crosses and that goes the same as Chadli who put in a fantastic ball for Soldado yesterday.

To think we were after Naughton but couldn't afford him and settled with Coleman for £150k. Sometimes it's good to be skint.

It's amazing that we have been unable to train Aaron Lennon (and Kyle Walker) how to put a decent cross into the box across the face of goal

I'd make them both put 100 crosses into the box every day in training until they get it right

I read he had broken a toenail until the medical staff saw him, and is now looking like he'll be out for weeks.

Lennon was at his best in the first part of the 09/10 season. He started on fire and was putting a number of assists in. I've never seen him recreate this form before. In all honesty I think it had something to do with Corluka playing behind him and perhaps Bentley as competition.

Lennon offers us far more than Lamela. And you can tell the opposition can read Lamela like a ladybird book.
