Improvement would be scoring, rather than looking like he's going to score.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not necessarily, he's crafting chances for team mates, as well as getting to ones made for him.
I do agree though, he desperately needs a goal - If he carries on playing like the last two games, its only a matter of time.
Also, the amount paid for him, or any player should never be used to make them accountable. If he had cost 2 million, he'd still need time...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He looked like scoring in his last game, and there were moments before that. I think we should be past this stage of taking positive from him looking like he's going to be scoring. He's not a young up and coming striker. He was scoring goals for fun in La Liga and so anything less than scoring goals when he's in goalscoring chances shouldn't be good enough.

Jesus! He has 2 games with a formation that is more set up for his liking and by the looks of things was told yo drift out wide to help supply Ade with more chances today. Ade was awful in the second half and just gave up when decision didn't go our way

He's as good as Torres!
Shame that Spurs have effectively given up. Nice guy that Sherwood is, manager at that level with no experience? Major major risk taking if your ambition is to compete at the top end of the table
I dont think he is a waste and probably will become good, but I think a few of the Soldado fan boys are quick to defend him so far.
He has not been good.

I actually thought Soldado has looked his best in a spurs shirt in the last 2 games...
Was much better than Ade today.
I still remain firmly in the camp of "if given time will come good"
Let's be honest we've spent 26M on him. He has very little resale value, so really need to get behind him

Why so many exclamation marks for that comment?
!!!!!!!!
I agree with Ginger.
Soldado is the best striker we've hired in some time, ....
(I don't count Bale a striker)
A striker is only as good as the service he gets. Pool give suarez very good service. Spurs have given Soldado very little ... usually crosses too high and passes three feet behind his boots. Not much use that!
Sherwood has to change that. Now today I will admit Soldado had a couple of snap shot chances that he did miss. But every striker has those kinds of misses.
Lets just hold on to our hats and see what he does, shall we.
Anyways..... we dont have much option, do we.
So ... shut TFU wit the Soldado cr - -a--pp.

No Grandad,..... I did not compare the two players.
I compared the service they get.
Given your opinions about everything Spurs, you should probably take up supporting Fulham

If not for Soldado goals securing 9 points from three games, Spurs would be even worse off. So no he has not been a disaster.

Hell, even Andy Carroll chipped in with goals and a trophy in first full season
