I keep seeing all these different proposed formations being posted for the Liverpool game but you know what, none of them hides the fact that we have a sh-t CM

True, but you've got to make do with what you've got.

For 3 seasons and Emenalo does what ?
More of a chance Mata playing in the 4231 than the 433. Highly energetic pacy wide men will be required for the wing role. Hazard, Schrulle and Willian.
has dinner with Roman and Booby Campbell
De Bruyne ? Has been said he doesn't do enough in training
--------------------------------------------------
If that's true then it's clear he doesn't really want to be part of Chelsea.
If so then feck off to Germany where you really want to be
De Bruyne is a goner anyway. Not a chance in hell he will still be a Chelsea player next season. Big shame as he really could have been a good player for us.
We chased Modric for 2 seasons then stopped looking for mids.
I don't understand !?

Fack all.
Another one who needs to go or at least be demoted from his position if the club is serious about the future.
If that's true then it's clear he doesn't really want to be part of Chelsea.
Or they plssed him off so much his love has gone
TCP, I wasn't criticising the reasons for their non-inlcusion I was criticising the fact that Chelsea doesn't give opportunities for these players to develop in our squad.
Lukaku left because Jose brought in Eto'o in addition to the fact he was getting minimal minutes in our first few games despite being the best striker on our books last year and during pre-season.
De Bruyne is almost certainly a quality player as his previous loans have proved. however, the addition of the £30million Willian meant that the opportunities afforded to him his position would be limited and therefore not enable him to grow into the team and gain greater confidence in his abilities (he looks highly tense and scared of making a mistake any time I see him play now).
The Kalas situation is fairly understandable considering the wealth of options we already have in defence. However, as many posters have mentioned this season, Ivanovic has been favoured consistently at RB all season regardless of how he plays. Jose's insistence on playing him in every match severely limits the opportunities available to any other players. In addition to the fact that Terry has been in fairly good form this season and has been playing almost every game. That said, without the inclusion of Kalas, we already have 2 RBs, 3CBs and 2LBs. When 2 of the 4 positions are already locked down, of course Kalas wont see much game time if any at all.

Jose brought in Etoo cause Lukaku wanted to go
Biggish, I allude in the article that Liverpool in the form they're in was probably not the best baptism of fire.
However I'm not a fan of continually persevering with some thing that doesn't work.
Brana is a leader by what we hear from other players.
We have precious few of them atm.
Can see why he plays

This is my big worry over the Lukaku situation!
TCP - To be honest, I'm not sure anyone is completely clued up on the intricacies of that Loan deal. But the Lukaku loan deal was arranged very last minute whereas Eto'o was brought in a fair few days before deadline day. I'd assume it was the Eto'o deal that caused Lukaku's cold feet rather than the other way around.
Lukaku said this week he asked to leave and Jose wanted him to stay
Also fair enough about Ivanovic's leadership but when does the way we play and how effective we are in attack down the right come into consideration?
Yes Biggish, it seems we've little over the Matic saga!
But when did he ask to leave? If it was after the Eto'o deal I wouldn't blame him at all to be honest.
When we have enough pts on the board mini
Lukaku went on the record a few days ago to clear up what he considered had been misreporting of the matter.
He said he had asked Jose in the summer for a loan move and that it had been refused. He then wnet back to Jose again with only a few days left in the window and asked again, to which Jose reluctantly agreed to do.
Not that does not excuse Mourinho of criticism as he could have said no again, but on the other hand he must have thought that this lad Lukaku doesn't think he is yet good enough for Chelsea, or he would hang around and fight for his place.
Ba also wanted to leave apparently
Only Torres wants to stay
