as I said tactics go over my head im a simple sole, but if you want to always moan about the stokes of this world being boring, but it would be ok for spurs to be the same but win the title doing it then it doesnt make sense to me, but we all get our enjoyment one way or another

Some of the posts on here since we drew with west brom have been down right ridiculous, particularly those slating Sherwood after having only managed us for three games, the worst injury list we have had this season and with no time on the training pitch because of the busy christmas schedule.

Entertainment and winning are not mutually exclusive. Avb seemed to think they were, but actually attacking football leads to better results when you have good players like we do.

We need to find a balance but something like 442 against teams that park the bus and 4231/433 against the better teams.

If we're playing dull football and winning 1-0 that's fine, but as avb found out that is not a sustainable method

Winning comes first then comes winning with style

That's just a fact, no one wants to lose in style do they?

Sizzle, the point is not many successful teams are built on a negative style. Even Mourinho's Chelsea played some superb stuff.

I look at Arsenal and even Liverpool now and that's what we want to achieve. Attack the lower teams and win these games comfortably. This is how teams get top 4.
