Show them the trophies, they'll flee
"Our philosophy is that we build upon success on the pitch - and although in these financial results we haven't repeated the sizeable profits made the previous year from player transfers, we believe the age profile of the existing squad means we will benefit from that investment for many years to come."
--------------------------------------------------------
What sizeable profits were those?
I just hope we have amortised Torres to his fair market value of Zero
I hate all this boring finance stuff - but I do wonder why when the Club has supposedly turned over more income than ever before!
Losses on the transfer market is one of the big reasons, then there is the huge agent fees and obviously a poor CL campaign did not help...
We need to be getting to CL semis every season it appears
We'll probably make a profit in the next report even if we don't have a CL run

£25-30m more from new PL TV rights deal.
£10m+ more from reaching the CL knockout stages.
£10m more from the new Adidas sponsorship deal.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And new Samsung deal and Gazprom which isn't included here.
All in all whilst disappointing there are a few good things in there.
Record turnover and commercial revenue up 19% and it will be significantly higher next year with the deals mentioned.
I'm more than happy for anyone to have the FFP Trophy as long as we win things on the pitch.
Just think, we'd probably break even without all the discarded Manager compo fees we have to pay

Who cares about that arrogant or his mental health, fack him that's what I say, I wouldn't give two shiny shítes if I saw him living under a bridge having a meaningful relationship with a cardboard box, wiping his arris with his hands and living on a diet of white spirit and dog túrds.
looks like someone doesnt like your boss very much
Sell Torres, that will recover 3 pence
