We openly use the Y word. But kick up a fuss when someone makes an ill timed, uneducated Tweet

Like Ginger beard man says. His time is up. You're giving him what he wants.
Just ignore and move on. The club will hand out the appropriate punishment
1. Benny will definitely leave now. Good riddance.
2. Comparing pro-Jewish chants to anti-semite sc*m betrays a severe lack of understanding of both issues
This is what I don't understand. You get comedians like Benny's friend, and like many many others who have made a career out of anti Semitic comedy, people laugh, joke, even our own fans adopted a word that was used for hatred and acclaim it's used in a non threatening way
Just stinks of so many hypocritical actions, you can't have it both way lads,
Comparing pro-Jewish chants to anti-semite sc*m betrays a severe lack of understanding of both issues
-------
Wtf has that got to do with understanding the difference between pro-Jewish chants and expressing support for a non-Jew with anti-semitic political views
I understand the difference, quite clearly in fact. I think you're blowing it completely out of proportion!
We'll have to agree to disagree Thudd, either way it wasn't a smart move on his part. Depends which view Levy takes as to whether he ever puts a Spurs shirt on again
LLM
Ade is exactly the same a few goals and good performances doesnt make.me.forget the horrific chracter he is.

I'm sorry but I think you are letting your ITK knowledge try to influence us on your personal feelings towards a certain player.
You, along with other fans, may not like Ade because of his Arsenal connections or his lazy attitude (mainly under AVB) but the Ade I see is one of true talent, one that tries hard for the team when given the right support and one we need if we want to progress.
I don't know much about this "Anelka gesture" to comment but I cant imagine BAE would purposely post race-hate on line towards anything - that just doesn't suit him.
Anyhow, please don't try to make your anti-Ade opinions appear as fact because Sherwood is clearly more in the know and he feels he is fit to play for THFC - and that is more than enough for me.
I hope I haven't offended you but its the way I feel.

Totally agree, it's funny how many people buy into it
Thudd,
LLM has proved over time he has some ITK - and I respect him for that.
But if Ade was as bad as LLM says, Sherwood would know about it and would not be playing him - and giving him the (Harry type) man-management we know he needs.
We had assurances from LLM that Bale and Huds weren't going anywhere. Now I know LLM cant be in the know about everything and I believe this extends to Ade, and he is trying to force his personal opinion of Ade off as ITK.
I see a different player to the one LLM describes. Sorry LLM, just saying it as I see it...

I'm not sure about that. I think that if he thinks he can get the most out of him on the pitch, then he's happy to play him notwithstanding that he's a caaant. Come on now, everyone in football knows that he is don't they ?
======================
If managers didn't play players simply on the basis that they were "caaants" then i'm sorry but we would hardly ever be able to put a side out.
I have met a few of our first XI and they are, quite frankly, arrogant ars-eholes.
Sheringham was an ass, and i'm sure many were before him.
I'm sure the football club workplace is no different to any others when it comes to the ratio of caaants and decent blokes, whether we support them in the shirt or not.
I bet Ade is far from our worse character on the training ground - then again, he's the only ex-Arsenal so no wonder we all want to believe it.
LLM seems like a top lad. But I take everything face value.

Agree totally and its nothing to do with him being ex woolwich.
IMO his attitude as a pro footballer is a disgrace. He plays when he feels like it and tries when it suits him. He believes he is beyond reproach and unfortunately as the average fan is totally forgiving on behalf of a goal now and again he gets away with it.
This makes me think of somebody have a serial cheating wife back purely because she is a good cook. Ignore all the bad bits and the embarrassment of any antics as long as you get a good dinner.
Sorry but my principles are a lot higher than that and I can say without any hesitation that I would happily see Adebayor sacked tomorrow even if it meant we did not win another game for the rest of the season

All the stories about Ade's lazyness are just hearsay. Soldado has had many a lazy game, VDV used to, even Bale. All players have quiet games, but when Ade does it - its because he's playing up. I dont buy it.
And as for the 5-0 mocking, well Ade must be a physic because the picture was actually taken at either 3 or 4-0 - then again i dont really blame him after the treatment he recieved from AVB.
And since his return to the line-up, i think we can witness how much training he has been putting in. He looks fitter than anyone (his latest injury permitting, of course) - and more hungry for sure.
When i have heard him speak he comes across as very humble and honest. He touched on him being disrespected by not even appearing in a squad picture. This may come across as petty on the face of it - but what a stupid and disrespectful thing to do.
Respect has to works both ways i'm afraid - and now he's getting it, he is respecting us fans and the club.
Like a lot of our footballers from Africa Ade is involved in a lot Charity work - he has converted his house in Togo into an orphanage, is involved in two hospital projects and also the Peace in Africa project. A side to him we seldom hear of ...
I read an article about Ade directly from Sherwood on Saturday morning, where he said that all the players and staff respect Ade, as he does them. He is good to have around the squad and trains really hard.
So again, we can either believe a decent ITK forum member - or THFC's head coach.
There is certainly no definitive proof that he is disruptive or any of those things.
