Podolski up front!

@ Master-Creator
Not only is Poldi not the best with his back to gaol, he also can't head the ball and has problems in tight spaces. He is not a centre forward and should play on the left wing (and I expect that he will drift to the left wing a lot, exchanging positions with Carzola/Wilshere even if nominally playing as centre forward)

This is going well

Podolski is not a striker, least of all a striker in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

If there was ever any doubt of Poldi's inability to spearhead an attack as a lone striker, this half should all but firmly eliminated it.

just look what he was doing right in the beginning of HT, an attacking move is constructed but we have no one leading the line because our nominal striker has dropped deep to the 'hole'.

And in a position he hasn't played in years in awful weather conditions. Id say you need t allow at least 3 games before starting to judge him.

Its nothing to do with match fitness. Im not knocking the guy. He will be a useful player for us but as a wide forward. Cf just isnt his game.

It is not the first time we have seen Podolski play!!

Podolski was pretty much a failed experiment.

Bendtner looked much better. Better than Giroud in fact for little time he was on before pulling a hammy.

Theo up front against Spurs? Gnabry wide? Or Sanago?
