Joe Mason is NOT a lone striker

From what i have seen of him is that he is a very good lone striker, but you are dead right that it shouldnt be going up in the air to him. He has good feet etc and the ball should be through the floor to a player like him

Which game was Joe Mason a good anything??

Usually a striker has something, be it pace, finishing or presence... I've not seen anything from this lad....

What's happening with Craig Davies? Is he injured or what?!

To be honest though, Beckford and N'Gog looked just as bad (worse in Beckford's case) which explains why we never take any of these chances Dougie likes to tell us about after every single game. Answer: sign some strikers this month or he is clearly not trying to fix the one problem he has actually spotted.

Joe mason fine young player but should not be at Bolton. No sign of Craig Davies, ngog on £30000 a week but not even been on the bench the last month or so(rvp got sacked for doing something similar with adebayor) tom eaves, sordell out on loan but we are giving a Cardiff player at the same level of eaves first team experience. Where is the future for Bolton wanderers in that. Anyway masons loan is now finished. With malky now gone who do we ring to extend the loan? Mr tan? Would leave that one for the yts lad starting tomorrow.

I am not worried about scoring goals it conceding that's the issue. Score five goals in two games and get one point will be a rarity.

You say that, but there's been a lot of games that we would have put to bed in the first half if we had someone who could take his chances. Obviously that sounds silly following the Leicester game but that was certainly an exception in many ways.

Yes but you don't lose games with clean sheets.

And you don't win games without taking your chances. I'm glad that's cleared up.

Anyway we won't be playing for Bolton again as his loan is up and he has gone back to Cardiff and it sounds like he Is not coming back so he is no longer a "loan striker" .

We are taking chances. One goal wins a game if you keep a clean sheet. How exasperating to score three and not win a game. Or score two and draw. Both of which with better defending are wins.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying our defence doesn't need improving. I need my head checking if I thought that! I'm just saying that there have been plenty of games where we would've won by half time if we could take our chances better.

Almost word for word what was said about Owen Coyle, Cravies and yet you want more time for DF when you couldn't wait to get OC out! Also, you mentioned earlier about not changing the manager as the effect it would have on the club yet you were calling for us to get rid of OC after only 14 months in charge. #justsaying

Yet to see DF do anything anywhere near the damage of Coyle.

Poor signings, terrible formation, no defence & lower reaches of the championship....

You seen anything to suggest why we employed him then?
