Aye, we don't look that interested until we go behind. Was the same last year too.
I rate Carrick highly but feel he is part of the problem for our laboured play. Feel we should be looking at his replacement in the summer and it should be an energetic and mobile midfielder. We really lack that right now.
---------------------------------
was about to create an article on this. Mobility has been the key for us in recent weeks when we played our best football with jones and cleveley despite the shortcomings of both players
Likewise the cleverson partnership was similar.
as much as we all rate carrick when he reaches his peak form, when not in peak form he is more of a problem.
This was exactly how we performed in the majority of games last season
Story of the season. Players don't seem motivated or driven until we concede, it's a worry.

Been saying this for 3 years.
Fergie has left Moyes with a squad that needs major major surgery.
Ferdinand, Giggs, Vidic, Evra, Carrick and even RVP are coming to the end if their cycle. In RVP'S case I think his ego will force a move away from United. He'd signed for Fergie and NOT Moyes.
Players like Anderson, Cleverly are just terrible.
And then you have the likes of Nani, Kagwa and Hernandez that typify the foreign that has the talent but only playing football when they wan't to.
Fergie has really left Moyes with BIG PROBLEMS.
To be fair, Spurs just stuck at it today, United could easily have had a couple second half. Your team is going through the same sort of confidence thing as Spurs were a couple of weeks back. It changes around so quick.
From a neutral take on things, Ferguson has left Moyes with a big big task to rebuild the United dynasty.
That's half a SQUAD that I've named that should be moved on.
Even players like Young and Valencia are hit and miss.
Fletcher for all his loyalty simply won't reach the heights of a few season back.
United made Sherwood look like a tactical genius today, and that's playing at Old Trafford.
Been saying this for 3 years.
********
Can't criticise him. By default he became this great player for doing things averagely in a poor/overly rotated midfield. He rio and vidic made us change our style completely.
