Think we were slow and sloppy, Coutinho Johnson and Aspas especially until Agger scored, then we were okay dug in played good football in spells but never really got going. Hull aren't a bad side hard to beat as they are well drilled and organised so I think it was a good result after 2 good performances but bad results vs City and Chelsea.
Coutinho hasn't impressed me for a few games now. Not doubting his talent coz it's there to see
I genuinely think Cout works better with two strikers in front of him making runs. When Sturridge comes back I have faith he'll flourish again.
Finishing was a worry again
defence was very solid
Lucas did job well
Hendo too deep (because of injuries to be fair)
Coutinho was great running with the ball shooting was
Sterling was a bit weak on the ball
aspas looked scared
Suarez was OK
Good result and the performance was deserving of the win but it wasn't one worth watching again
we need to do better than that
Agreed , best thing today was we seemed to defend crosses etc really well , agger and skerts great .

For me we were quite sloppy until the first goal. After that, the players seemed to pick up some confidence.
A big win.
Having looked at the fixtures, it's very promising indeed. We should be aiming for maximum points over next month at least

At least?
thru feb 2
that's more than a month
The fixtures look tricky to me.
Not awful, but not great either.
I watched the game today. And while I can understand the comments made above, and the less than positive aspects, I think the teams performance was effected by one issue : tiredness. In both the City and Chelsea games they ran themselves into the deck as they went for a win. Coutinho, one of my favourite players, looked totally sha gged. In three days time they are back out there, and the majority of the team need a rest. I think BR will have to play the youngsters and fringe players; our priority is the PL.

Alas.
On the wrong board lad haha
I agree with Jimmy in that tiredness seems to be effecting the players.
However I think we should field as strong a line up as possible with maybe Aspas and Alberto included, injuries permitting.
What I've seen of Alberto thus far, red-head, he would get the nod from me in front of Aspas. And, hopefully, Rossiter gets a run out too.
