What about when Smalling handled the ball in their area ?
No, he shouldn't be punished. In fact there is so much tv evidence now and so many "experts" giving their views that the manager or referee will be shown to be at fault.
So a healthy outburst by any manager is a good thing to keep the standard of refereeing up. There is nothing so well designed to aid poor quality or even corruption than an effective control of criticism.

That was one of the worst impersonations of Sir Alex, by Moyes, that I have ever seen
His faux-anger was pathetic, and by stating it to be one of the worst decisions he's ever seen is a massive exaggeration and simply undermines his credibility.
He should be banned to the stands, and maybe they'll let him sit next to SAF...or may be SAF will replace him on the touchline.

I think some decisions could've gone against us yesterday, so we were lucky in that respect. But I don't see any of them has hugely 'unbelievable' decisions. Yeah it could've been a pen for Ashley Young, but he'd already played the ball, and his follow through was what lead to Hugo catching him.
Should Valencia have had a red card for his high boot which caught Eriksen in the head/shoulder when he scored our second goal? Not really....but it could've been. Same with the aforementioned Smalling handball could've been a penalty.
There weren't any hugely controversial decisions, just some grey areas which luckily went our way at important times.
How about Welbeck tumbling in the box and throwing his legs everywhere looking for contact??
Having been at the game and watched in horror when Hugo flew out to get Young I did fear the worst but with it being Young I think that saved us, that guy deserves everything he doesnt get. januzaj also threw himself down at every opportunity and ironically got booked for diving on the one occasion he didnt dive! Anyway a great 3 points but it means nothing if we dont beat Palace & Swansea
There was the tackle on Rose that left him down just before Wellbeck dived. Not only did the ref not give anything, United played on.
Webb kept De Jong on the pitch after that kick in the world cup final. He later recieved an MBE. An MBE lol. Most overated ref in the game.
I expect Moyes felt under pressure with SAF in the directors box. Not excusing his actions but it is a noticeable change for Moyes to be quite so critical. It was a borderline penalty for me (what about the hand ball Mr Moyes) but it was not a 'scandalous decision' or the worst he's ever seen I suspect. Happened to us at OT with Gomes who touched the ball first and the Mendes ball a yard over the line against Carroll not to be given (that was scandalous)! I wonder how Moyes would react if Webb had come out immediately after and said something derogatory like "People at OT should be looking at why they employed a manager like him to replace SAF who went from a club with little or no expectations of the manager other than top 6 with a decent cup run". And for me, Welbeck should have been carded but the 18 year old should have been given a talking to rather than booked.
At the start of the match coverage at old Trafford Fergie walked in leading moyes like a wee pup, moyes never mentioned the hand ball did he.
Divechester United have now got a reputation and so can expect to get some rough decisions unless they clean up their act.
This season I have seen blatant dives in the box where there is zero contact by Wellbeck (yesterday & another occasion) Hernandez, Januzaj & Young...with the latter 2 being prolific divers on all areas of the pitch.
As for the non-pen....Young played the ball and Llloris momentum slid him into Young. Its was very wet and slippery conditions and such collisions are expected. Not worth a pen in my opinion and even less so given it was as Young, although we have all seen them given, esp. in front of the Stretford end.
Evra isnt against tumbling over with no contact
memo for Moyes Smalling handballed the ball in his own box (no pen)
