I think that it depends on the situation. Other than Januzaj last booking, which I thought was harsh, the rest have been pretty nailed on where as it was clearly offside and there was some nasty challenges that went unpunished.

Surely you can admit that. Show a bit more class than your players.

Sorry when did I say different, the Adnan diving previously part not sure what you are talking about with the rest of your post....

Well done for admitting that though, very big off you.

The only time in the last few years I've seen a Liverpool player going down with no contact was Suarez last year, and he got booked. You, well beck and januzaj do it constantly. I'd be rightly embarrassed if I was a man u fan.

Suarez did have a habit of going to ground when there was minimal contact, but for the past year he's stopped it, hence why he's scoring more goals because he's not flailing around. I genuinely think that's the main reason for his scoring. Several times this season I've seen him get clattered but get right back up and join the attack with minimal fuss.

Doesn't fit with your arguments though does it...

No they were not. Feel free to list all the bookings liverpool players have had for diving alas.

It's only a classed as a dive if you get booked for it? How many times has Gerrard be booked for diving? Not many if any,but you've all seen the Youtube clip of him doing swan diving. Are you lot honestly saying Suarez is branded a diver just because of the dive he did at Stoke?

Alas the Liverpool fans are well known for their support of referees and their belief that they always get decisions right....

So of course only when players get booked for diving have they dived.

It's the only tangible way to judge it I'm afraid. Moyes supports diving. Deal with it.

Not really thought that through have you.

Of course players only get booked for diving when they have dived. I imagine players getting booked for diving when they have not dived is extremely rare.

2 problems there Robby...

Firstly the logical conclusion of my sentence is that if a player is not booked he hasn't dived.

We all know (or at least I hope we do) that this plainly isn't true. If players never ever got away with diving they probably wouldn't do it...

Secondly I've seen a fair few players get booked when they didn't dive, Adnan the other day and Bale was very unlucky with it last season, he had quite a few yellows for diving when he was actually fouled. Pretty sure I've seen it happen to Young at least once as well.

They like Suarez made the rod for their own backs though....

Did Suarez get booked for biting Ivanovic? No,mustn't have done it then.

Alas well pointed out...

No wonder the Liverpool fans are always moaning about being hard done by!

If our referees who get every decision correct didn't think Suarez bit Ivanovic then Suarez got a 10 game ban for nothing!

Don't get me started on sky editing the footage to make Suarez look bad...

6 pages ! 6 pages of this total hypocrisy. Man u have definitely had their embarassments this year and Liverpool before ( and currently ) . And it's been going on for bleedin' years. Come on 'pool fans, that montage of Gerrard on you tube & his associated comments about diving must be a total embarrassment to you, out of decency I've not left the link, but supporters of either club banging on about the other is just a waste of cyber print.

I never moan about being hard done by. You've made that up to reinforce an already weak point.

We can all find rare exceptions to the rule but off the ball incidents are harder to spot by their very nature.

Whether you like it or not the only tangible way to measure it is by cards. That's why the FA do it. You can search all you like but you struggle to find Suarez diving in a Liverpool shirt without contact. One against Ledley king and the other against Stoke.

Regardless Suarez could get booked every game for diving it would not change the fact that your players dive all over. It's endemic in your club. For every Suarez there is a young or januzaj. For every Gerrard there is a welbeck or rooney. Our players have stopped though. Bravo I say. Now sort out your shower.

The Moyes Rant? - There's only going to be one rant that we'll remember from the Merseyside - The Rafa 'Phakts' Rant. Pretty much lost you the title that!

What they've stopped doing it?

So Gerrards not currently diving around the physio room and Suarez has decided not to do it anymore after the City game?

Guess what ours too!

posted on 3/1/14

I thought Moyes had a point myself. With the penalty anyway.

posted on 3/1/14

Didn't the Tottenham Manager himself say it was a penalty?

theres no denying that re young, however there were 2 blatant dives in one game

how the mighty have fallen
