Southerners have spent the last ten years brown nosing Moyes.
Us Liverpool fans know that he's always been a rat - and an unsuccessful one too
I admit I always thought he seemed OK but at Utd he seems to have fallen into the pattern of placing blame elsewhere.
Remember when he wouldn't stand for diving in his team? How'd that go...

There's simply no way that this incident was deliberate handball.
Just admit it - you got away with one on the weekend.
You win some, you lose some. I'm not grumbling about it - particularly in a fixture where we have benefitted from a couple of diabolical decisions over the years.
Can't really blame Moyes for moaning - are you any different in the immediate aftermath of a match where a big decision goes against you?
We have more technology in the game than we've ever had.
Who knows - in 10 years we might not even need referees

I thought most Liverpool fans lived down South or in the Phillipines.

I wouldn't say brown nosing, but with practically no money and having to sell any player as soon as they looked half decent. He not only kept them up but he made them a team that was difficult to beat. So credit where credits due.
But his whining now is purely out of desperation, cos he's feeling out of his depth.

Oh dear - the quality of these rebuttals are cause for concern.
Let me put that on the same shelf as Soldados football boots

I remember this in real time. It wasn't even handball. He chested it. The fact is, United should have had a penalty, no question but it definitely wasn't a sending off, where was the clear goalscoring opportunity? I don't know what's going on with Howard Webb at the moment but he's making some weird decisions. Having said that, we've been due some luck up there plus we should have been out of sight at half time. Apart from the penalty and Hernandez's backheel late on, I can't remember any real clear cut chances they had.
Can't see how far the ball travelled for that incident to tell if he had a chance to react or if his vision was obscured until late so I'll reserve judgement.
Ashley young didn't get the penalty because he's a serial diver and is reaping what he's sewn. Welbeck dived and januzaj went down fairly easily too. Think moyes is more shocked as he was led to believe they'll get every single decision at old Trafford....
I don't think Young's reputation had anything to do with it - I think Webb saw Lloris charging off of his line and deemed it to be a collision from that.
I think most people will acknowledge he got it wrong, but I think it's all it was - a mistake.
It happens.
Moyes should focus on why we were chasing the game, leading to Valencia at right back, which was the cause for the 2nd goal.
It wasn't Howard Webb's fault that we were losing at that point.
It's a shame the debate around the game is littered with childishness about United getting lots of decisions at OT.
If anything, the howler from Webb should help demonstrate what rubbish that actually is.
How is it childish to say united get plenty of decisions at old Trafford?
"Think moyes is more shocked as he was led to believe they'll get every single decision at old Trafford...."
That's a reasoned comment, is it?
He's used his hand, or arm to control the ball. Arms are up and out to the sides, not in.
Looks like a blatant hand ball. Should have been a pen, very lucky to get away with it.
See my response in the other thread.
It is simple......Moyes has banged on about the ref decisions. Those "contraversal incidents" are what the media focussed on, not his poor team selection, panicky substitutions, and a team lacking motivation.
He was outwitted by a novice manager and in his shame and embarrassment he throws around accusations to deflect criticism & excuse this embarrassing loss.

Or... he was frustrated at a bad decision, and said so.
As most of us do in the aftermath of a game.

It's not a childish one. You lost - suck it up son and get over it
That actually made me laugh aloud.
In the same post, he denies making a childish comment, before going onto say 'you lost'.
What a classic!
Did you not lose? So stating a fact is childish is it?
Are you going to deny that last post was childish too?
Seriously?
The United loving media failed to mention the Smalling handball but typically made a song and dance about anything that went against Moyes` men.
There is exactly the same media bias when teams play Liverpool.
