We were very good, jelavic was excellent having second thoughts about letting him go now, might even change my username back
Any chance of Oviedo nailing down a starting position on the left wing?
2 assists today and would have had a 3rd if pen had been scored.
Glad jelly got on the score sheet will be sorry to see him go as he always gives 100% imo, although I can understand why we would sell him as the end product has not been there for a while
Mr Reasonable,
A good all round performance from the Blues,4-0 could and should have been a few more.
Enjoyed a great day today.
Started off with a few pints on County Road before the game.
I spent an hour in the company of two lads who are a font of knowledge on all things Everton, great company very enjoyable.
On to the game and we are in the next round, hopefully the start of a good cup run.Another goal from Seamus as well.
Just saw some highlights, jelavic was a bit cheeky with his pen & colemans finish was more like that of a world class striker full of confidence than a 60k full back. Happy days
Happy days indeed.
The rapid progress Coleman has made is unbelievable.
A world class full back in the making.
Excellent performance today from the boys!
Would anybody else like to see Jela given a chance next week at home to Norwich? I still think he is a good goalscorer and I'm not sure if we could get much better if we sell him.. Based on the fee I imagine we would get for him. Around 5 mil
Anyway....Oviedo...? Any chance of him getting a starting berth on the left wing in the PL?
Oviedo started the left mid at home to Southampton 👍

But then didn't play at all the next game. Just wondering for my Fantasy team Do you think he'll get a run in the side or will Pienaar play?
Tbh mate I think while they are all fit Martinez will rotate them like he has been doing the last few weeks..
Mr R.
I think QPR hardly having a touch of the ball got their heads down.
Plus some great play from us, 5 minutes into the second half they were shot. Great to hear Jelavic name over the PA...gutted for him not to cap his hat trick.
Could this be the spark his game needed? If not then what a great send off we gave him and Johnny H
Surprised we cup tied 2 players who are supposedly on their way out this transfer window.Especially Johnny as that substitution was completely unnecessary
It may well be a sign that he is moving overseas?
Or that whichever club he is going too are more interested in league than cup runs?
But was great to be able to give both a send off if it were their last games for the club.
not really bothered about Johnny going as I've never been a fan,but I think Jellyman could still do well for us.If he get's his confidence back he will score goals.Take Lukaku out the equation and Jelavic is the best forwaed we own on our books
Newcastle got knocked out of the cup,so makes no difference if he is cup tied.
That was boys against men,I say I say, boys against men.
Didn't know newcastle were knocked out. I guess kicking off late had its plus points, keeps my bet going and allows Johnny a Goodison sendoff. Jela showed today he is a great option to have.....could he be our cup striker.
I haven't been impressed with Lukaku for some time now,it could be a big mistake selling Jelavic.
What bet did you have Arouna?
On Heitinga?
The runs off the ball that Lukaku does never stop. His link and work up front help create space for the midfield and full backs to bomb on. Would have loved more goals, but if we keep performing well as a team and winning the I can forgive a small dip in form/less goal return than I had wished for.
"I will wager some of my winnings that Heitinga goes to Newcastle"
"Didn't know Newcastle were knocked out.....keeps my bet going"
I tried to follow your betting advice as you seem to be certain he is going to Newcastle.
I have tried all the bookmakers sites online and can't get anyone I can place the bet with.
No bookmaker seems to have a market for that bet.
Seems a shame to miss out on a winner.
Which bookmaker did you place the bet with Arouna ?
Didn't realise the time.
Good night Arouna.
If you can let me know the bookmaker tomorrow.
Cheers
You are like a dog with a bone, where did I mention a bookies?
Unless I am mistaken.......you are wrong
Why not walk into your nearest highstreet bookies and ask for the odds if you want to place a bet. Otherwise my father in law will take it with you also.
