After all the emotion of yesterday, I think its clear that selling Bale was a big mistake, all you have to do is contrast that with Liverpool who held on to Suarez who is dragging the scousers into contention.

Selling Bale was fantastic business for 86mil I agree was, but buying a whole suite of second rate players is the bit you messed up on... You should have bought quality instead of quantity... A superstar we bought Ozil for 40 odd, why didnt Levy do that in his dealings with Madrid. People say Levy is a genius, but he pi ssed of Madrid so much with Bale they ended up selling Ozil to us to spite you boys..

my guess would be that ozil wouldn't be interested in a move to spurs because

1. we wouldn't be able to pay him what he could get elsewhere

2. we are not in the champions league.


and its far too early to judge most of the signings. sandro was terrible for almost a year and he is now probably our best player.
