Agree, why Essien should go off for mata
Essien is an all round brilliant midfielder. All Mikel is is a defensive midfielder.

yes mikel is very bad obers but you seem to have gone quiet. why is that?
As much as I like Essien and his history with us, we were playing with 10 men when he was on the pitch.
He's now similar to Lampard in terms of defensive contribution and ground coverage. The difference is Lampard can pop in behind the striker and score goals to compensate for his shortcomings.
Obers doesn't have a clue about anything. Complete tool.

Mikel was one of our best players today.
Essien was shocking I could safely say I could offer more to Chelsea than him atm and I am a slightly above average goalkeeper who is unfit and 33 (ok so maybe I am in fact younger than him ). In this case it makes me feel very sad for players like Josh and KdB who could actually offer something to the team
