Those three getting promoted would be be fantastic now that I am at Uni in Nottingham!

An evening match in the old second division, think some of your lot weren't sure where the away end was

I thought Derby battled well against a team that plays football and pass the ball well. I though Buxton battled well and Forsyth had his best game. Foxes away on friday is more important but it was a good experience for the lads today. Martin to say he was a free signing did well on his own up front. I would like to say how good the Chelsea players were after the game signing autographs for my lad. Florest came a few seasons ago and everyone of their players refused to sign my lads autograph book for him.

Amber, why the hell would your lad want a forest autograph anyway?!

Since I started in September, been able to go to a few forest games and enjoyed it every time. So here is hoping for some Prem games next season for at least Derby and Forest

Upfront I think Bamford could do some damage (Ramage?) for you. Rate the kid highly

Nice to hear about those horrible, selfish Chelsea players being nice

he was young and wanted to collect all the autographs he could. TBF to Nigel Doughty when he found out what had happened he sent my lad Shorey's Forest shirt signed by the whole team. Had to give that away.....nobody wanted it...

Still can't remember that evening in /82,I gather you must have been very lucky ,and sneaked a win !

I also cannot remember a night game in '82 but I do remember that I was at an FA Cup game in '81 and it was carnage that day, the papers were full of it the next day.

All home safe and sound today

Let's leave the carnage to the dirties, Snots and Millwall

Could of been '81 I suppose, all I know is that your lot were in with our lot and as you say it wasn't pretty! That's over 30 years ago

Igor, excuse my ignorance but who are the snots and the dirties? I am assuming that one of them must be Forest. Whats the background (if any) behind the names?

Thanks Charlies its all coming back to me now thanks to your list. I was at the 1-1 game in November 81 and there was some trouble but the FA Cup game I remember (which I wasn't at) in 83 was the carnage one. If I remember I think Leeds had been there a couple of months before and made the wrong kind of headlines and "ours" decided to try to outdo them. Both sets of fans behaved badly and ripped the seats out.

Chelsea's reserves were the better team

Igor, do you remember the game at the Bridge in about '74 that ended 1-1 (I think) and Roger Davies had the miss of the season. He rounded John Phillips and just had to tuck it into the empty net but he mis-controlled it and it went off for a goal kick. I think that it is on U-Tube.
