Poor midfield choices. Lennon, Townsend, Agbonlahor, Walcott, Welbeck, Milner, Lallana.

7 players for wide midfield, and only 3 CM.

Foster is better than the two back up keepers.

Lambert

Watch the lack of pace in the Italian and Uruguayan back fours, let our fastest players exploit it

Let's get Dwain Chambers and Adam Gemili into the team...

Sterling maybe

Both Lennon and Agbonlahor are good old fashioned wingers, both able to get crosses in that box fr the dominating presence of Lambert

You do know Terry retired from international duty right?

Wheres Gerrard the captain? Englands best CM Carrick?

What has agbonlahor done to get in? Yes he's fast but so is walcott, lennon and walker. Then there are other pacy players like ox, townsend, sterling etc who imo are more likely to go than agbonlahor

Shawcross is liable to get sent off

Get him back, we are short of quality at CB, need to have the physical presence

Shawcross?
Lennon?
Walker?
Townsend?
Agbonlahor?

Maybe Ruddy but not as good as Forster.

Shawcross is a dominating CB, can be used to close out a game

Lennon and Agbonlahor on the wings would rip the opposition FBs to shreds

You want a player like shawcross at the back. Old fasioned wingers like lennon and agbonlahor to give crosses into a tall physical striker like lambert. This is exactly why england won't move forward with the likes of Germany and Spain. I'm glad you aren't the manager

Why don't they do it for their clubs then?

Why should we try and play like Germany and Spain, they will always be better at it than us, we should try to play more like Englan
