Extremely interesting.

You read his autobiography yet D4?

'He was hitting holes in the wall......' lol love that!Great doc, first hour anyway then it turns into a womens rights debate which takes up far to much of what is supposed to be about his life!
I personally feel mike had schizophrenia, simply by watching his early interviews, sometimes he comes across as a really nice, nieve charming modest guy then only weeks later you could watch him speak and your watching a vile disrestectful arrogant animal ( I no a lad with schizophrenia just like him, its scarey) I think the real mike tyson was the first example deep down, but without medication he would be constantly fighting his demons but just like a sweet child who can suddenly turn into a a ragging monster, that was mike tyson!
what a waste of a talent in the end, it makes me sad that we didnt go onto see what would of certainly been the greatest fighter that ever lived but the demons got the better of him!

the greatest fighter that ever lived

He never had that kind of talent. Behave yourself

Are you joking, to overcome his height, reach and weight disadvantages he had to have freakish talent, the kind we had never seen before in the heavyweights and may never see again! Tyson at his best was a once in a lifetime fighter, the speed of a lightweight and the power of a man twice his size, why do you think where still talking about him now a decade after he retired!
Of course its all about opinions how great he could of become, the greatest heavyweight, the greatest of any weight? who knows, one thing is for sure though he had the speed and power to beat anyone if he hadnt self destructed!
There will only be a hand full of fighters people will still be talking about 100 years from now, and tyson is one them, that says it all!

tyson messed up all by himself, yes others around him were probably no good but they were his decisions, i feel more sorry for guys like salvador sanchez who through no fault of his own had his chance taken away, now theres someone who actually could have have been the greatest ever

posted on 7/1/14

Sanchez was riding his motorcycle too fast. Crashed and died. His fault alone.

oh and you're a numpty.

posted on 7/1/14

He crashed his car you numpty.

And Tyson was so mentally weak, he would make Victor Ortiz look like Bernard Hopkins.

Atlas was spot on about Tyson.

posted on 8/1/14

Look again. I'm certain it was a motorcycle he crashed. Outside Ali I doubt there has been another boxer so scrutinised. I doubt any other boxer has been used and abused by all and sundry than tyson.

Plus being jailed was a disgrace.

oh the irony, it was his car you pr!ck, bit different from raping and biting people in the ring but of course thats every one else fault but poor tysons

Mandingo thinks that people that commit the crime of rape shouldn't go to jail

I didn't make a comparison. You did. Yes he crashed his porche and died instantly. Obviously going too fast. His fault?

As for the r@pe conviction it was a joke. Only in that district in that state and before judge Gifford would he have been convicted.

Fack off d4. You sound more and more like an idf spin dr.

No means no

Well done d4. You got the basics right. In another court house and before another judge he walks. She refused to allow a slew of evidence which could have shed a different light on the verdict.

The Sunday times wrote a very good article which discredited the prosecution and said that he would have walked had that trial been in another court or in the UK.

The Sunday Times
The paper ran by a pornographer.

The UK has an appalling rate of rape convictions.

Tyson used to like boasting how he knocked the teeth out of old ladies when mugging them.

posted on 8/1/14

It's telling that your criticism of the paper is about who owns it.

What he did as a youth is irrelevant. Foreman was a young tearaway. Hopkins an excon. Paq a tax dodger and seriel womaniser who threatened to kidnap one of his slappers.

There are crimes and there are crimes against morality.

The things Tyson did make you sick.

Well they would if you had any morals.

All Tyson's defence was that she knew what she was getting into when she went up to the room.

Tyson was convicted in a court chosen by the prosecution before a judge chosen by the prosecution. His defence was not that you buffoon. Read up on the case and the plethora of holes which you can drive a truck through. The whole date rape issue was a political hot potato especially after the Kennedy offspring had got off on charges which appeared more conclusive than those against tyson. But the jury was presented with a black thuggish man who had to swing.

Eye witnesses who saw them in a limo with his hand up her skirt were not allowed to give evidence. That tyson asked her to wear a loose dress and no underwear (which she did) was not admissible. Also what type of rapist would ask the victim if she would be more comfortable on top?

What tyson did wrong was to bang her hard and after he shot his load, telling her to fack off with $20 for a cab. The money grabbing gold digging bich should have been told to walk back to her hotel.

if tysons idiotic behaviour stopped after he was released then maybe people may have been scepticle about the rape convinction, but the fact he's continued to a to$$er after he was released(inside and outside the ring) only "calming down" when his boxing career finished like it or not plays to the belief that he was capable of what he did, i know it shouldnt work like that but it does, he's a sad case of someone who literally had it all, people continued to forgive him, more fool them

evan after his prison release his fans claimed that he was surrounded by the wrong people but he made a choice to continue associating with s(um like folk after his release which ended up making him broke, the guy earned more money to last 100 lifetimes but didnt appreciate any of it untill it was gone imo

He made his own decisions so ultimately he takes the blame for his own plight. But there are mitigating factors which can and should not be ignored.
