and a great time for the OX to step up
He'll be 28 by the time the next world Cup comes round... fack me
Theo provides us with something unique in the team - there's no one else in the Prem who has the blistering pace that he has. People may say ''all he has is pace and a good finish'' but they are two very important attributes in football, especially to the way we play.
It's sickening that he's out for so long. Absolutely sickening.

-------
I suppose but feel so bad for Walcott
This could be spell the end of theo's career at arsenal imo, plenty of talent coming through

Never!

Those people would be wrong.
He's improved so much over the years. Set pieces, crossing, control, technique all shown over the last few weeks. In addition to his pace and finishing.

I agree. But what I meant was people shouldn't disregard those two attributes because they are still very important.
Yeah he has come on so much in the last 3 years after not really progressing in the first few years. I never thought he would be this good but he's lethal now and had a maturity in his game, really gutted for him. We have a strong squad thought and with Gnabs and the Ox there's two players who could help fill the void.
Theo's improved massively. The last world cup miss made him come on properly. He's been immense and our key player since.
Set pieces have improved, technique, final ball finishing.

I thought he'd shown great improvement last season, but this season it's no exaggeration to say he's been a revelation as far as I'm concerned.
Even then though I was sceptical as to whether he could fulfil his desire to play through the middle.
It's true Spurs are no great shakes, but I thought on Saturday that he really can play that role fir us.
So gutted we're gonna be without him for so long.
Genuinely upset.
There is no exact replacement for him. I'm so gutted, just as everything was going so well!
We do have some rotten luck with injuries. Last season was by far our best year on the injury front for years and we still lost the likes of Sagna and Wilshere long term. Wish for once, we could really get some luck on that front. Too many long-term injuries to our young British players too. How long have Gibbs, Wilshere, Ramsey, Ox and Walcott missed over recent years? Simply appalling.
I'm gutted.
