It's not like everyone can just jump on a bus and go
Still.....its a shame for semi final......

Maybe one day, when common sense prevails, we'll see players earning a very good wage and ticket prices of around £10.
As it stands, we have players earning a small fortune and empty seats.

Ticket prices were reduced but money tends to get tight at this time of year. Plus it's probably freezing up there!
I'm sure i read something a couple of years back where the German clubs in the Bundesliga were going to put the prices up from 20 quid to 25 quid and as a result the supporters from all the clubs decided that they wouldn't turn up the next week in protest. The week after that, they put the prices back down. With the money from TV rights worldwide that clubs in the Premier League make, it shows we are getting ripped off with ticket prices.
All German tickets are cheap. Pretty sure the bayern president admitted they could charge far more if they wanted to but there's no need

The media rubbish that the northerners are the salt of the earth football fans and always turn up no matter what, is absolute bollox. All the big London clubs would have sold out for a semi.
Lion Crickey cld u imagine that kinda attitude here....the German model really Shld be followed...
Prices are way way to high in the prem.
It just shows you how much richer bayern could be considering they're already in the top 5 richest teams in the world with their cheap tickets, compared to united and particularly arsenal who make fortunes through ticket sales who are also in the top 5.
The bundesliga is an amazing model. I paid €15 to watch Munich v Berlin this year in the allianz.
The stadium was packed, including 5000 Berliners, there were numerous world class players on the pitch and it was a cracking 3-2 match. You can even have a pint during the match!
Unfortunately the premier league has gone too far and the prices will never come down.
To be fair the German's have a different mentality to the English. Less profit driven and they are more interested in making things work globally rather than individually. It is why their economy works so well. However, although they are efficient, they never reach the stars. I'd bet that they don't win a world cup in the next 12 years.
In England, people are out from themselves more and that is not a negative thing, it creates competition. All in all, I would not say that one is better than the other though. The German's have 2 of the best teams but we have the most competitive league in the world and see some cracking matches.
Bayern is owned 50% by the fans anyway! as are most of the German clubs.
To be fair to Sunderland didn't they have a higher attendance than Tottenham managed for the last semi final played at White Hart Lane?

Are you saying Tottenham are not a big club?
Bayern season ticket is something like 120 quid.
Trust an attendance article to smoke out warm feet.
Hi warm aka Brutus
"You can even have a pint during the match!"

Now that says something about the fans.
Beer to our English skinheads and our poor police would be screaming bloody murder.
Yup, the same rabble that fought at Agincourt would fight every week on our football pitches if they could.
"Trust an attendance article to smoke out warm feet."
Attendance article + Spurs 606 + late evening = Warm Feet.
Looks city didn't sell out either........
