Mr mortimer
agree entirely he was stupid to back chat. However i also saw larsson absolutely slating the linesman. Now i am no lip reader but he clearly called him a foo***ng pr***k yet he got nothing. There needs to be some sort of consistency. For me players get booked to easily for minor challenges yet don't get booked majority of times for effing and blinding on a football pitch.
I still agree he deserved the booking for backchat regardless of whether it was a pen or not however i am still not having it that hid challenge warranted a booking
His challenge he didn't get booked for could easily be a yellow as he caught him although not to hard. he thing was I think the ref knew it wasn't a pen so he thought he just booked him for a pen that wasn't.
Stoopo - completely agree, we now call all wrong decisions 'controversial' and they aren't. If you can see why the referee got it wrong to me it isn't controversial - it's only when you can't explain it... To me the Suarez Eto'o incident is one of those - yes there isn't much contact but the referee looks straight at it and doesn't give it.
Fans outside the big 4 seem more accepting of human error.
larrson also was probably back chatting the linesmen much worse for nothing in 1st hald I believe
Fergie - yes, consistency is key... I saw the incident you are referring to and immediately wondered why on earth the player wasn't booked. I honestly think referees should clamp down on abuse - there would be one week with lots of red cards and after that hopefully people would understand how to behave.
Hafijur - sorry, are you saying he didn't get the second yellow because the referee felt he had got the first yellow wrong?
It does surprise me how players do get away with more sometimes when they are on a booking, but if we are asking for consistency then this is wrong, surely?
Sorry Fergie - not missing out your second point - If you don't think it was a booking then you don't. The fact we are having the discussion proves that some people do think it was worthy of one though, and so many have "seen them given".
MrTweedy - completely agree.
If he hadn't given a foul I don't think many eyebrows would have been raised, but to give the foul and not book him was very strange!

100%
Is Moyes happy with the Ref for not sending off Fabio for a second yellow?
Or the 6 minutes of added on time?
Honestly...from his poor media communication to his poor decision making and indecisiveness its not looking good. Why didn't they buy Ozil? Or did Madrid not see Arsenal as a serious rival?

Poor media communication?
Really?
januzaj played a big part in the 2 goals today against swansea. If he can be this effective every game we are on to an upwards spiral
