The thought police in these matters can be disturbing though. Ultimately, I believe people should have the right to abhor the practice as long as they don't incite hatred or discriminate. You can't demonize everyone who doesn't accept the lifestyle as some kind of little Hitlers. The way society is going, even mosques and churches will be ultimately compelled to wed them regardlep of the tenets of their religion. Some kind of free society that is.

Actually, both homosexuality and heterosexuality are lifestyle choices. One just happens to be FAR more pervasive and more culturally acceptable. I'm clueless about all the genetics or hormonal stuff being peddled about, but ultimately, it's STILL a choice. And cultural acceptance significantly increases the fraction of those who are homosexual.

You accept that you have no knowledge of genetics etc... yet still somehow come to the definite conclusion that homosexuality is a choice how does that make sense??

Perhaps their may not be less homosexuals in these cultures, but that they may instead be repressed through fear and stigma.
