You mean like Portsmouth, blue white and red (despite most of the badge being yellow.
LIW - was tempted to say something similar but it's not a negative, just might not generate too much positive either I guess. Can't do any harm and Haigh gets an excuse to find another birthplace plus hand over another Leeds a United shirt to another foreign national.
A better link would have been with an MLS side.....

Agree but were linked to a big side here, these aren't the West Brom of the premiership This lot are good at merchandising and are a global brand
We're a global brand too. I lived in Saudi whilst we plumbed the depths of League One but I would say most football followers over there knew of Leeds a United. Revie was in the region for a while after all.
I have no idea where the "a" came from!!!
This link seems to be one sided though, hasn't even been reported on their official site.
They are taking advice from Leeds United about instantaneous website updates..........
Interesting news - wished it had been the Browns though

I noticed that too, on a different forum I stated that its more of a case of us wanting them than them wanting us. they're internet chiefs are probably in McDonalds atm
From the chief opperating officer (some title!) Paraag Marathe:
The 49ers are very excited about the prospect of partnering with Leeds United, a club with an international following as well as great history and tradition.
We look forward to sharing best practices with Leeds United and providing them with our perspective on the sports industry. This is an exciting opportunity for us to link up with an English football club and learn from each other.
