I suspect on a world level they are considered a bigger club still than Chelsea and Arsenal.

I suspect they are not given our global revenue streams from Asia

Can't you read Redinthehead - At least we didnt finish 13th! (U1860) I have mentioned winning titles which is a true measure of big club.

Over the last 20 years all the big clubs have won their domestic title.

Manchester United,Arsenal,Chelsea,Bayern Munich,Borusia Dortmund,Barcelona,Real Madrid,Inter and AC Milan,Juventus etc.

All clubs who claim to be truly big clubs on the world stage and all back it up with winning titles on a regular basis(some more regular than others) and yet Liverpool FC claim to be in the same sphere as these big clubs.

Are you really as big as these clubs and if you are then you are certainly the runt of the litter aren't you lads

Yeah liverpool are a big club,

But as far as competing in the major competitions they are now considered 3rd or 4th tier competition .

Well supported ,but there revenue streams do not represent world club footballs biggest clubs.

Its A delusion!

In 2014, there is no less expectation on a player when he plays for Chelsea than when he plays for Liverpool - the 'bigger club' argument, which is boring anyway, is irrelevant. The expectation on our squad is to compete on all four fronts every year, the fact that we were rubbish in the 80s has nothing to do with the expectation on a Chelsea player now.

If Moses isn't playing enough it's down to ability, not mentality.

BR's comments are quite ironic given that we lent them Moses because we dee him not good enough for Chelsea....................but good enough for Liverpool

Chelsea on 3 fronts

While Liverpool after top4 trophy

Who actually cares that the Liverpool manager thinks they are a bigger club than chelsea.

Im sure the Chelsea manager thinks they are bigger than liverpool.

Cant understand why people get so irate at stuff like this, grow up.

Man utd were a big club even during the 26 yr period when they did not win a domestic title. Wolfsburg and werder bremen have won the bundesliga recently. Neither I would say are anything like the size of LIverpool.

Yes Gunner but do Wolfsberg turnover 260m pounds of annual revenue?

You are looking in the wrong place mate.

Biggish, Chelsea have just announced a loss of 50mil.You need to increase those revenue streams !

They will just get a sponsorship from one of Romans companies and pretend they can make a profit.

Small fan base and a small club, that's why poor old Moses is struggling.

This is Liverpool's year

Nice to see the dippers back and chirpy, been a long time................but twarning......you are not back in the CL yet and if you don't make it this season you lose your cannibal..........

posted on 11/1/14

Most plausible reason why Moses is struggling at Liverpool could be the fact he's playing alongside inferior players and playing for an inferior manager compared to Chelsea.

Torres wanted to join Chelsea
Rafa wanted Chelsea job permanently
Puds buy our rejects

Wants to buy Bertrand from us

agger, soft lad, CFC have been one of world footballs top six earners for over 10 yrs.

This has nothing to do with Romans sponsorship.

? your away support was a little subdued at the bridge the other day.

Growing up I recall the triumphs and glories of Liverpool. I respect the achievements going back to Shankly and Paisley. Brendan is living off the past success. Maybe he should win something before he spouts this krap. He's fooling no one.
In the words of another great manager, Brian Clough, show us your medals?
