Joke decision. It seems that the refs stayed in Manchester after all.
The goal that was disallowed for Newcastle just pretty much sums them up
Who is "them"?
Yawn you know. Keep living in dream land. Everyone else can see the corruption. Every offside, and penalty decision goes City's way.
The Newcastle players are also to blame. What were so many strikers doing in a potentially offside position instead of running back with the last City defender? The linesman erroneously thought the ball hit a Newcastle player on its way in, and that's the risk you always run when you allow yourself to be in that position.
Surely it's just inept officiating? I don't really see what City have to do with it.
Unless of course you're suggesting somebody is match fixing?
Inept officiating which keeps on happening against City? Not a coincidence at all.
The linesman gave a goal...
The ref was in a good position to see it, and he made the call that Goufrann was active.
More to do with the unclear rules that are too open to interpretation.

The Newcastle players aren't to blame for poor officiating. You even say yourself the linesman "erroneously" thought it hit one of them. That's his fault if he can't see what's happening properly.
The City fans have adopted the same in denial stance Mancs used to have. C'nts.

You miss my point completely. I don't dispute that the refs got it wrong. But Newcastle players could have saved themselves all this trouble by doing the right thing like running back quickly instead of being left by defenders sitting in offside positions. No manager would condone such inept play, and I am sure Pardew will also criticise his players on that point instead of only blaming the ref.
No I got your point thanks. They may have been slow getting back but that doesn't make them at fault. Why can't they rely on the officials to do their job properly?
Because the ref did his job correctly

Apart from the wrong ref decision, their ineptitude cost them, and their manager will tell them that. Any manager will tell you that it's stupid for players to remain stuck in offside position as there is always a risk of being flagged, even erroneously. I am sure this is a very simple point to understand. As it stands Newcastle are losing. No amount of moaning will help them. Refs are human and will always make mistakes, and this mistake was crucial but not blatantly wrong, I have seen worse decisions.

Old rules.
Current ones here: http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/footballdevelopment/refereeing/81/42/36/log2013en_neutral.pdf
Page 113 shows the referee was incorrect as he was not in the keeper's line of vision or challenging for the ball. Amended at the start of this season.
Ref had a mare, Tiote, Mbia and Kebab could all have been sent off.
Its true though man utd get cheated near everytime we play newcastle while newcastle get cheated by man city nearly everytime they play against them. I remember man city beating newcastle 2-1, correct score was man city 1-2 newcastle in 10/11 season.
poor decisions, but claims of corruption way off the mark....
Newcastle could have easilly had two players sent off today...........the guy who kicked Nasri down the road to Sunderland should never have been allowed to stay on the pitch..
