Sorry to hear of the death of Bobby Collins. Always remember him as one of the better Celtic players of his time and an annoying thorn in the side of Rangers on several occasions.
R.I.P Bobby.
Remember him playing for Leeds when I was nipper.
Fois shiorraidh dha.
Dearie me - it seems it's just one guy after another these days.
RIP Bobby & consolation to his loved ones.
I remember his fotie in the Wee Green Book.
Always thought his namesake Bobby Murdoch looked a lot like him.
I never saw him play either, but my fav Celtic player is a guy who passed away 8 years before I was born.
TMQ - who was that, mate?

Sorry Steve - posting sloppy as usual here.

I'll be honest mate and say Leeds ain't my favourite team these days.
At times like this that don't matter.
Good posting though about a talented guy who entertained Leeds & Celtic fans.
Heed.
That's no way to talk tae yur Betters.
I don't lift shirts btw.
Got a man to do that for me.

Curly wants to know if this "man" pays tax?
BTW, wee Bobby made his Celtic debut at 17, back when we had a youth policy worthy of the name.
Noticed it about 10 mins ago on the OS.
Does seem to happen more often. They would have so tough 5 a side games where they are all now.
Rest in peace.

Everton chairman Bill Kenwright said: "I am extremely saddened to hear of the death of one of my idols, Bobby Collins. "Jimmy Lumsden called me to say Bobby's wife had asked him to pass on the sad news as Everton was very much part of Bobby's life. "Bobby was very much a part of Everton's life and helped transform the Club from the minute he arrived at Goodison Park in 1958 as our record signing. "He was pivotal and inspirational during his four seasons with the Blues and will never be forgotten by our fans and everyone at Everton Football Club." The sympathy of everyone at Everton is extended to all his family and many friends.
He was before my time, but reading the reports etc he seems loved at the clubs he represented and held in high regard by those lucky enough to have watched him play.
Ive great admiration for BK
He has nothing but love in his heart for all things everton and helps keep the club routed in the community it was built to be a part of. If only his pockets were as deep.
Good posting guys
We all enjoy the WUMs & the arguing.
But a good forum also needs calmer reminders like this thread that we're all made of the same stuff.
He seems a great guy. A proper fan of the club. His insistence on only selling to someone who has the same attributes as himself makes him a man of great integrity in my eyes
As I am now 70 I grew up with Wee Bobby in the team.Great player ,gentleman Who can forget the 7-1 game.I was 14 then and watched Wee Bobby often.R.I.P Wee Man.
