Van Persie says Moyes was surprised when the United players refused to get too carried away following that 2-0 success at Wembley.

Zaha certainly was from what I gather

If RVP stays quiet, he's unhappy. Now he's said this, we shouldn't expect him to say anything else.

Moyes arrived from Everton without a top-level trophy as manager, although that soon changed when United beat FA Cup winners Wigan to lift the Community Shield on 11 August.

Preseason friendly trophy?

.................

Something I am sure you would really love your own club to be able to compete in, my dim witted little scouse friend.

Vidicshin with his usual juvenile insults. The old man's getting crankier by the day.

Dubbed

Would you like your club to be able to compete for the Community Shield, or are you as dim witted as the scouse tool?

Over to you lad.

Of course I would. But I wouldn't have the Community Shield down as 'silverware'.

Still a pre season friendly for Moyes!

VC with some lame attempt at abuse as usual.

posted on 16/1/14

It isn't a friendly if you have to qualify for it. It really shouldn't be that difficult to understand.

I know you would, just as the scouse clown would.

According to RVP our players were not treating it as if it was a big acheivement.

How it should be really.

BBC bigging up a pre-season trophy win for Moyes, as if he was responsible for Man U getting there.

You see the passage reads thusly, "Moyes arrived from Everton without a top-level trophy as manager, although that soon changed when United beat FA Cup winners Wigan to lift the Community Shield on 11 August."

Nothing about qualifying for it or competing for the community shield (not that Moyes was responsible for that anyway), but rather Moyes has put his top-level trophy drought to bed!

What about the Singha All Stars cup?

Redinthead

This is why you are such a tool. This was also by the BBC.

Manchester United manager David Moyes:

"I class that as another piece of silverware for Sir Alex. It was his team that won the league by 13-15 points so it's his team. The ones going forward will be down to me.

..................

The more imp[ortant thing is mOyes attitude to it, and not the BBC bigging him upfour months later.
