Congratulations, I broke up with my missus of 5.5 years yesterday. As one thing ends something begins ha. Enjoy it while you can. No matter what now you're going to have a worry or thought in the back of your mind about this child till you die.
Cheers Blackbeard, I'm worrying already! Sorry to hear your news but my previous relationship was 5 years and subsequently things have turned out great. Chin up mate
Thanks. I'm doing fine to be honest might not have kicked in yet but I think it's easier when you are the dumper not the dumpee. She's my best mate but we'd ran our race unfortunately.
how old are you bkackbeard if you dont mind me asking?
Congrats bullfrog hope mother and child are well.
Been there Blackbeard, I'm guessing you feel guilty but you there's a massive weight off your shoulders
Thanks Kneerash, bit of high blood pressure so they're still in the hospital while i got kicked out. Home tomorrow though hopefully
I'm 29 knee turn 30 on Sunday.
Happy birthday for Sunday
hopefully lad, you must get the kid one of the little liver outfits, them onesie things, i got them for both my neices as soon as they were born, also got my eldest neice a jersey with daisy and the number 7 on the back its so funny she loves it shes turning 2 on sat my sister in law has awful trouble getting her out of the jersey
Is it a boy or a girl? What were you hoping for?
Knee, i did the stadium tour in November and bought a mini kit for him. I'm a Geordie and part of me briefly thought raising him as a Toon fan would be easier for him but after those 2 seconds i realised he'd be Liverpool fan like his dad. Hopefully he'll have been born in an era of success!!
Sinister it's a boy which is what i hoped for until i went to the 20 week scan and it became abundantly clear that it REALLY doesn't matter
fair enough blackbeard was just curious as youd been with the girl for five and a half years, from what you said above it sounds like you did the right thing, no point wasting both your time if its not there anymore.
Thats ur life fkd then..Welcome to the club, there is no rulebook and their all different. Maybe your kid wont have colic, or wake every 2hrs, or have horrific teething problems......maybe
Never a truer word spoken, my last relationship was over 2 years before we broke up, we were effectively housemates.
Congrats mate must be very special..just make sure he grows up supporting the right liverpool team
GB i thought you were always optimistic?! That's really freaked me out!
Silky, oh he will, we'll watch the Villa game this weekend
That IS me being optimistic ..I didnt mention sleep deprivation did I??
Fair enough. We don't think it matters either.
Congrats mate, hope youse are all good
Ah so you're expecting Sinister... Best of luck. I suppose the initial male impulse is to want a boy to play football with but as soon as i saw the scan images it was clear that I genuinely didn't care. I work with children with special needs so crossing your fingers for a particular gender is very superficial
Cheers sturridge.
GB say it isn't so!
Fraid it is BUT; I have never loved anything as much as my children, it genuinely brings tears to my eyes just thinking a out em sometimes.....see what you've done, ive gone all soppy u fkr!!!!
