and nearly £600,000,000 since the formation of the Prem
Is there a parrot in here ?
it's true we have spent 110mil but we recouped all of that money from sales. We did it the proper way and didn't just go out and splash a load of cash like Chelsea and City without making back their money. Spurs have spent a lot down the years but have also sold a lot and made massive profits, we run our club properly.
You are owned by a billionaire.
FrimBoue has got metro on his f ucking shoulder....polly want a cracker!!!!!
Lamela cost £30m
Soldado cost £30m
Negredo cost £16m...which was the better signing?
I would question your clubs transfer policy not how much money you have or haven't

Well the OP doesn't want your club to run properly and would rather be like city and chelsea
Did Man City or Chelsea spend 100m+ after selling 100m+ worth of players.
Our net spend is virtually zero, palace have actually spent more than us, why are people not able to grasp this.
IF YOU SELL SOMETHING FOR 100M AND BUY SOMETHING FOR 100M YOU HAVE NOT SPENT 100M......get it?
I'm guessing Negredo is getting more in wages though?

Just because Lamela hasn't (yet) cut it at Spurs doesn't mean to say he wouldn't if at City or Chelsea.
Likewise Negredo may have struggled at a different Prem club.

Even Bendtner would score 25 goals a season with City's midfielders behind.
It's very difficult to respect these clubs.
But that's football nowadays.

Mahmood... That's a bit of a stretch don't you think??
I wouldn't mind spurs being taken over by a Sheikh (don't really like the Levy penny wise pounds foolish approach) but I'd hate it if we started throwing money around like Man city or Chelsea.
I like sensibly building things from the ground up and spending within your means... So in other words I'm OK where we are

Although I like our club being run the way it is, the right way. Yes we may look on in jealousy when we see then lifting countless trophies over the years, but it makes our achievement all the more special.

End of the day....there are ALOT of clubs for so few trophies......
But yeah....it's galling to know that just about anything you do....will most likely get trumped fairly quickly by other clubs throwing money at it.....
HATE them but at least I can respect the way arsenal go about things.....
Why did many spurs fans reject the Net Spend idea when we used it to defend Rafa but now Net Spend is relevant?
