We miss Delofeu, we looked like Everton of 15 years ago pinging aimless balls up to big Dunc but losing it almost immediately and had no other options off the bench. I'd even think about giving Mirallas a go up front with mcgeady maybe playing off him to give Romelu a break.

Sort of makes you wonder why we sold Jelavic without a replacement sorted first

I've been saying for months now that Lukaku has been poor. I don't think the big lad is going to be the answer either.

I am.sure Martinez has a replacement lined up. Sell Jela, but make sure youhave someoneas Lukaku has been dog dirt. He could have even had Long on the bench and not out on loan.

If we had £20m,would you buy him? I wouldn't

posted on 20/1/14

At this moment in time I wouldn't even pick Lukaku to start.

Poor!

A predictable result, lukaku has fallen short and probably lost sone value. Tonight showed we dont have enough quality in back up

This your top scorer who set up the goal you're on about?

posted on 20/1/14

So he should be immune from criticism as he won a flick on?

He has been poor and shown why he is not worth £20m

No I'm just saying it seems a bit weird to be slating your top scorer when a lot of your players are not scoring many from open play. It's not like he got loads of service is it.

Robbing, something has changed within the whole team i fear. I put it down to the fact we are in a good position in the table and we are letting the nerves kick in, we arent as fluid as we were early on in the season

How much did you get for Jelavic?

Lukaku was disappointing last night, slight over reaction to that performance.

He will develop into a top centre forward as he gains experience.
A young boy playing in a position where very few can hit top form week after week at his age.
Overall it has been a great start for him, still around 1 goal in two games for Everton.

All young players in the position hit a lull in form, patience required here.

Criticise the performance by all means, bit early to give up on the player.

So we are playing an out of form striker who is on loan......but he will develop into a top striker, can wait to see him banging the goals in for another club next season

I would love to know when you last think he had a goodgame?

Not getting many from open play, please go on??

Perhaps Senor Roberto will spring a tactical surprise by dropping Lukaku for the derby and start with Naismith as centre forward?

posted on 21/1/14

But my question was.....when did he last have a good game? In your opinion off course

posted on 21/1/14

Big Vic showed Lukaku how a big strong lad can bully defenders, hold the ball up and play others in last night.

posted on 21/1/14

Er, you're about to get Lacina Traore on loan aren't you?

posted on 21/1/14

not soon enough, I hope he drops Lukaku for the weekend, he can't keep putting in average performances and gettign the full 90 mins!

Put Vellios on for the Stevenage game.Been a long time since he had any sort of game time so it might be worth having a look at how he performs

In my opinion,Lukaku has struggled to maintain his early season form,he hasn't played to that standard for a few games now.
While he is scoring at a one in two rate the manager will play him in the main games,he may get a rest on Saturday.

Who knows who the centre forward for the derby will be at kick of time next Tuesday?

Who would you choose to lead the line in the derby Arouna?

posted on 21/1/14

Who mentioned the Derby...oh that was you. I said he needs to be dropped

Well your next top scorer is your RB who has 5 or 6 I think.

The you have Mirallas on about 3 and Baines' have come from free-kicks and a peno I think.

So Lukaku has been scoring from open play whilst most of the team have not. I'm not quite sure who you think Lukaku should be dropped for. With Delofeu and Barkley out, plus Pienaar last night you would not have even got a point last night as I cannot see the lethal Naismith outjumping Olsen can you?

That's what I meant. I blame your managers negative tactics.

That doesn't really cover if the goals have come from open play or not? It's just a list of who has scored

An example of how you have wasted my time and your own
