In truth Pakistan batsmen were aweful... You guys are over-reliant on Kholi and Dhoni.. Also Kholi shouldn't have left a spinner till end vs Afridi... Crazy decision

I wouldnt like to take credit away from Pak batsman. they gave a solid opening, and bar some careless shots from Akmal and a run out of Misbah, I think your team did pretty well.

Kohli didnt have much options. It was more like going through the motions really. Your batsmen lost 3 wickets when the game was in the bag. Im sure kohli wasnt expecting 3 wickets to fall like that.

It seems that head to head comes before net run rate. India are defo out.

If Afridi didnt perform, we'd be slating all our batsmen. Shahzad threw away his wicket... Hafeez and Maqsood looked lost running between wickets... Akmal never learns and has no patience.... Top order batsmen failing to do the basics.... This victory shouldn't paper over the cracks.....

Also, Bengalis beat India in last Asia cup to send them out, no gurantee of a pak victory, especially with our top order being inconsistent

Unless Afghans beat SL and India or Bangladesh win both games with one giving them a bonus point.

I think Hafeez and Maqsood did the right thing in taking the game to the end but both made the mistake of NOT finishing the game. This is our problem we don't have a finisher and always rely on individual brilliance to win a chase which of course does not happen often.

I think lala has put Facty in coma... He had two predictions today;

India to win
Kholi to rip into lala

Wat up folks.. Having a party huh !! First of all I never predicted that India will win nor that Kohli will rip Lala etc.. If I did then plz show me the proof or just chill. To my best of memory, I said how Kohli n rest will treat Lala. I stayed up all night as per PST in US and told way before that the current game was in Pak's bag. Still I was called plastic fan, so I stayed another few hours.

Also both our teams have serious issues. Even though Lala's biggest fan here said that Rohit played well that doesn't cut the mustard as he played once decently in 20 odd games and got out very badly. Same I would still say about Afridi as he plays once in blue moon.

I did predict one thing for sure was about idiot Karthik. We could have won both the games in this tourney if he had done his job properly. To all my cricket fans, a wicket keeper is heart of your team and if he fekks up then chances of win are usually slim to win the game.

One more thing to add was our selection of team for this tournament was joke and we have many bigger issues to deal before we become a decent team. Glad mishra played well and showed that he can make a difference..

Regarding umpires..

I was giving back to some folks here who are usually silent when decisions favor their team but if any time some umpire gave benefit of doubt to India, then they claim that they are favoring cos of IPL

Now little banter is fine & fun but comments like these creates lot of hate. Afridi 14 always try to ruin thread in my experience here with this type of comment especially against Indians (Hindu sentiments) Now how would he feel if Neon had replied that he enjoys Pork chops instead of red meat?

And then he complains the most to admin here. My personal suggestion to him that move on from 1947 era and in Europe or US, we are looked same by white folks. It is about time that we all get along here since we love cricket. I am not perfect either but I will never cross that line nor I will support my frnds/pals to disregard any one's religion, Nation etc..

Afghan bowling has been very impressive up until the death overs. Lets hope they put in a decent chase.

If Bengis beat us and get a bonus point win against SL and India win and get a bonus point win then we have a 3 way tie and left with run rate scenario. We need to make sure we do the business tomorrow and not open a door.
