Rooney and/or Kagawa will be off
Mata is a class player and will improve united massively
Makes no sense for Chelsea unless they need to sell for FFP - I don't believe this is the case though.
Makes absolute sense for United - class player who can play through the middle or wide.
wait till summer if we manage to get mata im sure you will be shocked to see the players we get in summer
Makes total sense for United Dubbed. Mata is an incredible player. And he basically kept Chelsea in the hunt alone in the AVB season, so he can probably make United's season improve drastically.
Yeah. We're worried about the next Feillani you'll be getting.
Valencia has been awful, and Mata has spent large parts of his time at Chelsea out on the right. He would greatly improve their attack.
Mata wants to play for a midtable club?
--
He hasn't said he wants too leave yet.
Pity Chelsea didnt notify Utd of a £40 million buy out clause, sure fire way of getting £45 million from davey
I get that. But let's say they keep Rooney and somehow sign Mata. Where will they play him? Out wide?

what makes you think he would be the next Fellaini?
Mou said we were contender so he did not sell Ba to us.
If he sells Mata to United, then he believes they are NOT a contender and will make a threat to their title chase.
Or we can think there is a conspiracy theory that, Mou is doing United a favor and get himself ready for United's job in the future.
Of course it makes sense to United, and as for playing for a mid-table club, maybe that's better than not playing for a top of the table club. Plus I'm sure they will pay him with money.

Mata would be more productive out wide than the jokers who play for United at the moment. He would play similar to how Pienaar played for Everton., i.e. a "wide" player" who tucks in while the full back provides the width. Atleast that is my guess

But Januzaj would get into our team.

And Valencia, Young and Nani wouldn't
The money could come in handy. Reported 50m loss a while back...
Dont know what Moyes's plans are with the team
I'm guessing he's preparing for Rooney to leave by getting in Mata now

Januzaj and Mata would be their "wide" players I guess. Anyway its a squad game too. Trusting an 18 year old to play all season is not the best gamble, as we know
"And Valencia, Young and Nani wouldn't"
That was clearly a joke. None of those clowns including Januzaj wouldn't get in.
Rooney has been toying with the idea of leaving for a long time. THis summer, he will only have 12 months left on his contract so he will probably leave.
At least by signing Mata, we will have a world class replacement ready so in the summer, we can concentrate on signing a CM and some wingers
I just can't see why Mata would want to play under Moyes
What's even funnier though is how Mata's all of a sudden become better than Ozil. You actually have Mancs claiming that just cause they were linked with him.
United have been playing 4411
If Moyes wants to change to a narrower 4231 similar to Chelsea, players like Valencia and Young don;t really suit
Players like Mata Kagawa Roo and Januzaj certainly do
If we continue in a 4411, Mata would be a pointless signing unless Roo were to leave, which is highly unlikely
My guess is Moyes wants to change our formation but doesn't have the players to do so yet.
Mata is a start though
Nani, Young and Valencia are crap/inconsistant. They're not good enough for a top 4 team
But but I thought Yernited won the league with them.
