Hi Cobby,
I said after a match a few weeks ago, that Fabio's performance showed why Liverpool don't want him
The last few games, under Gus's leadership, has changed my mind completely . . . . he was very good last night
Man of the match, for me, was Lee Cattermole (again) and they all played well
Cheers Gordon
I think Gus is just the sort of manager Borini needs, lets face it Di Canio is nuts.
Gus and Brendan are pretty similar football wise I think.
Consant football should help him out, I really do have hopes for him, but then I stubbonly stuck by the likes of Babel and Ngog, maybe I'm just a dreamer.
He played very well last night.
Poyet is a good manager.
He will keep them up IMO.
The lad just needs to continue to get a run of games and build up his confidence, he has the quality. As a Chelsea fan I remember him fondly from his time in our youth set-up and his movement and finishing always impressed me. I think he’ll take a few Liverpool fans by surprise next season as he’s certainly not shown yet what he is really capable of but he does need a bit of luck along the way because he’s career has been a bit stuttering to date. If Liverpool hold on to Suarez it could prove hard for him to get game time which will count against him as he’s the type of player who needs time to grown in to his role.
The lad is certainly growing on me, and I would like to see him make his move permanent at the end of the season..
Hows things A? Great result, but I had a pretty eventful trip, with our bus driver taking the wrong turning twice, my son's car breaking down on his way to the game from Staffs, and eventually having to abandon his car with him and his mates having to get a taxi to the game, with me having to wait for them seeing as I had their match tickets..Then the game! Bloody hell, my emotions were shot by the end..
That sounds eventful but eventually worthwhile
I've now got a massive problem with getting enough tickets to meet the obvious demand . . . . what a problem to have, eh
We should try to contact 'United supporters to see if they can help with accommodation for the final . . . . being as they have been a few times, and they live near Wembley
. . . . most of them, anyway
I will be taking my youngest lad (13 year old) down with me, so no overnight stay in London for me this time..Getting my oldest lad a ticket is going to be the problem as he had to give up his season card when he moved away to Uni..
My boy, Adam, gave his up this season when he went to college in Grimsby
If only, eh
cough
P.S. I now live in Brighton so I know how good Gus is, he will keep you up.
