this is brilliant, I just posted an article about De Jong, and part of it said...

"and.. this could be a GB moment (god bless him), but if we really are still in with a chance of Salah, as Brendan and Jose have suggested, how good would it be if we got him, and Chelsea pull the plug on the Mata deal as they don't have a replacement bench warmer!!"

off topic - (sorry GB)

It's funny that Fergie has included Utd, and everybody above them in the league, EXCEPT Liverpool, as current title contenders

He really doesn't like us does he

Beglin, on the radio interview Fergie said we were doing very well.

I think it's just sky sports stirring or Fergie slurring, both if which have happened before.

What surprises me, since his volte-face, is the amount of negative reports the Press, as opposed to Reds, have made on Salah. He is not seen as a,a zing; anything but. He is viewed as being a sub, brought on by BR late in a game say, to provide speed on the wings. Now that he has amply demonstrated his true feelings, I.e. his bank account and that of his agent, would we really want him? My short answer is: no.

You kidding me!
There is no way to say that at this stage of the season with that kind of attitude (comfortably), respected
I agree United haven't been on fire, heck that is an understatement but trust me if anyone knows how to finish well the season its United.
Remember, LFC had I think at least 8 point on Spurs at one stage. Yet now, its only GD separating the two.
The same can happen with any of the 4: LFC, Everton, Spurs and United.
Heck, I expect the top thre to turn in its head completely.
Why do you think Arsene was moaning about Mata being allowed to go to United?
This makes Chelsea's attempt at overhauling Arsenal that much easier.
Whatever happens, boy am I glad that our injury list is getting lighter.
Vertonghen, Sandro and Paulhinho are due back now

Really? You've got arguably the best player in the league on your side in sensational form, yet your only 6 points clear of united who've been shocking
