RVP is a 30 year old crock and past his best, plus he's a . So Ozil

Ozil everytime.

RVP's a top player. But if you have a look at the negative influence he had on the team spirit his age and his injury record, then it's a no brainer.

Would you not have bought Ozil anyway, irrespective of selling RVP?

Ozil. Like Dubbed says he was a massive in the dressing room.

Ozil isn't injured every 5 minutes and he still has 8 years at the top.

Easy decision.

Good point actually.

I would rather have kept RVP. We'd have been strong title contenders last season if we had RVP.

A front 3 of RVP, Walcott and Podolski with Cazorla behind them would have been immense.

If you guys didnt have Ozil would you want Draxler even more, seems apart from Deen you guys are abit laid back about it.

I would. Draxler could either be our Hazard or a future top striker. For me, we need the qualities of players like Draxler or Reus or Goetze more than Ozil's.

IMO, we wouldn't have won the league with Van Persie last season.

Will we win the league with Ozil this season? Possibly.

Both are technically brilliant, but I'm glad we have the one who (hopefully) has twice as many years at the top left in him.

No, I REALLY want Draxler.

Now OR in the summer I don't mind but I want him in our team next season.

You don't half talk garbage do you?
Gotze's a bit more of a goal threat but he's a playmaker too, you know that right?
Gotze, and Draxler are not on Ozil's level. Yet all you do is talk him down.

Ozil easily. Even taking Ozil aside, we probably would not have been as shít if we were last season if RVP was there to paper over the cracks. We needed to suffer numerous embarrassments to let Bould have an input and for our defensive strategy to change.

If both are 100% fit, for immediate results I would pick RVP, he has a far bigger impact on a match than Ozil. For long term, probably Ozil because he is much younger, though I feel £42m was over the top from what I have seen of him so far.

When you build the team around a player like RVP your general play will suffer.
When you build your team around Ozil the play will improve.

Still incapable of arguing like an adult. I want players like Draxler, Reus and Goetze rather than Ozil cos they're bigger goal threats and we have playmakers. I never told you any of them is better than Ozil, you caant.

RVP fired a weaker team to 3rd in his last season. He could have made a massive impact last season when his supporting cast in attack (Cazorla, Podolski and an improved Walcott) are better than the 11/12 season.

Wenger changed his tactics for the first time in 5 years after the defeat to Spurs. Fact is if RVP was with us last season, we wouldn't have lost to Bradford, we wouldn't have finished 2nd in our group to Schalke and get humiliated by Bayern, we wouldn't have lost at home to Blackburn and we wouldn't have been 7 points behind Spurs for the 2nd season running. All those low points contributed to Wenger finally giving Bould an input on the training ground and a change in his philosophy. A philosophy that has seen us pick up the most points in 2013 and top the league two thirds of the way into the season.

So yea. Fúck off Robin.

Ozil every time and not just because RVP is a C**T

At the end of the day, with RVP we were struggling to get into top 4, now with Ozil and a few extra additions, we are top of the league!

Also, RVP is an injury prone 30 year old, whilst Ozil is one of the best assist players in the world and is 5 years younger

In an ideal world, RVP would be a nice person and would of stayed and played with Ozil, that would of been amazing!

Would it be Cazorla on the bench?

Don't know, don't care.

Someone will always be injured so he will be in and out of the first team.

Squad rotation is important these days and so I hope Wenger can build a deep squad full of class players before he leaves.

I'm glad we sold RvP. It worked out better in the end for us. For years Wenger persisted with a strong attack and a fairly average defence for a top side, that didn't get us any results. But selling RvP, we had to rely more on team work than individuals as well as more emphasis on defence. Of course the defence was worked upon after that Spurs defeat. Since then the defence has made us more solid, we have become a much better team. Hence without RvP we are better overall, so I rather have Ozil.

the best title challenge we put up in RVP's 8 seasons was when we played the least amount of PL games (07/08 15 games). now he's left and we're top

A player who shows loyalty, commitment and a good nature who's helped us get to top of the league or a judas traior who spends half his time in the medical centre and got us 4th.

you can guess who I prefer.
