Yep good trip for Preston
Hmm weighing up whether it would be better to stay in the cup or not
I'd say definitely stay in it. It's a great chance to get to quarter finals.
Yeah of course would like to PNE, if we get Fulham weighing up if should win it
It is stupid to think there is a good chance we could get to the quarters
The league is so important though
The league we all know that but I want us to win every game we play - cup game or friendly, just think if we get through and manage to beat Fulham or Sheffield United we are only 1 game away from a Wembley Semi Final, unlikely I know but we can try.
Why would anyone even have to think about whether we want to stay in the cup. Of course we do. It's a few extra games at most.
You'd seriously want Forest to throw the chance of possibly Fulham away and beyond that the quarter finals? Winning breeds confidence.
Preston vs Forest is indeed live on BT sport. Whatever that is.
I live in the States (as you might have guessed from my screen name) and over here the FA cup still gets a fair ammount of media coverage (especially from this round on). Quite a few of my buddies over here, that are football fans but not Forest fans, took notice of our fixture and result with West Ham and commented to me about the attractive way Forest played and that they looked good on TV in front of a US national audience. Saying how it looked to them that Forest was progressing and that they are seemingly ready for the Premier League. I told them that West Ham fielded a weak side full of tough players, but it got me thinking that the FA cup (mostly because of the TV coverage over here) is a great opportunity to get new fans at least in the US. So to those saying we should just tank it and concentrate on the league I believe the club would be missing an opportunity to spread it's growing global brand a bit farther.
I meant to type youth players not tough players....blasted auto correct.
They definitely weren't tough players! Rolled over and had their tummies tickled!
