I have an opinion that my prime interest is the beauty
of football...I'm a fan/supporter, nothing else of any
significance.
My team is LUFC in whatever division, to accept
defeat, draws and wins as the normal rite...what else
should I expect? I'm not a football consultant!
"what arent you"....a football consultant!
Glad you cleared that up.
"what arent you"....a football consultant!..........me either
"mmm!"
A bit harsh that...anymore comments like that and I
will go the Show Jumping forum!
NJS - how exactly to you define "football consultant" in the context of Leeds United. Under your definition - there is only one football consultant at LUFC - the one and only Sir Kenneth Bates!!
Well Leeds Fan I have used the word 'consultant' more
liberally than the usual definition.
Yes by the usual definition there is only one consultant
at Leeds, Ken Bates...which I think kinda makes my
point as well...
CEO : Ken Bates
Manager: Simon Grayson
Fans/punters/supporters: Leeds Fan & NJS

Well Elmondy I think you're right, may as well close the
site down, get our coats and walk off into the sunset!
Generally know one is going to take a blind bit of
notice of mine or your opinions...we might as well be
talking to the budgie!
So I'm going to talk about art, architecture and
socialism on the New Statesman pages, leave you
to your revolution...did you see the protest at ER on
Saturday, mostly 12 and 13 kids!
At least read Hayek and talk about Capitalism with the Spectator
Augustus NJS
I thought you were a consultant.
Belfast White
Capitalism and football...now there's a subject for
discussion on these pages...trouble is I want to kick
politics out of football...no bloody chance!
My protest would be to talk exclusively about pure
football and keep politics out of LUFC!
Eric you know you can trust me... I'm not a football
consultant!
Who brought football into it?
Freidrich von Hayek, a man who inspired Thatcher and Reagan, enough of that i suppose, not much sport in The New Statesman Jimbo, Morning Star is a tad better, but not much!!
Racing Post for me Peter!
"Morning Star"...great name for a racehorse!
Augustus NJS
Not in the same league as 'Bernard the Racehorse' and I hear there's a greyhound called 'Colin'
The "Gipper" would have been a Leeds fan,he loved wining with a lost cause.
Eric...there was a great American horse called "Colin"
his name is found in many a thoroughbred pedigree!
Bernard...no I dont think so!
Some just like whining belfast white
Ole!
Augustus NJS
Not a greyhound?
No Eric, Colin was a horse...no greyhound has ever
answered to that name...but if you call out Max on the
park, hundreds of dogs will run up to you!
