Over past decade and especially since social Media has got big gay activists are everywhere. More emphasis on gay rights than racism. In the news nowadays you can't say anything even remotely against gay.s whereas you see people making racists 'jokey' remarks and feck all happens.

To be honest, I can't see why someone straight would put themselves through all that, all the differences of opinion from family members, friends etc, different treatment you'd get for your whole life, for the sake of fame/whatever. Besides, Hitzlsperger is facking loaded anyway, why does he want any of this?

I think what society is concerned with is preventing consenting adults from being persecuted for what they get up to in the privacy of their own homes.

On a wider note, Dubbed is entitled to his opinion, much as I don't agree with it, assuming it's not inciting hatred under the law. That's what free speech is all about, it's easy when you agree with people, but you have to apply the same standards across the board.

Sorry, I have to call Bullsh!t on this. In the news? Are you watchign your news on Channel 5?Or do you see racist jokey remarks in entertainment shows? Because there are a lot of jokey remarks about gay people made on TV.

Absolute facking BS, this, I probably make as many racist jokes as gáy jokes and this is the case for most people. If someone starts defending someone of the same séx, the common joke is cause they want to bang them, everyone (me included) makes this, and whatever else similar, same amount as my black, white, asian friends with their respective stereotypes

There is no difference between skin colour and homophobia. If someone got rejected due to being gay that's the same as racial discrimination.

I'll say this-don't have a problem with gay people but a big deal is made out of it when someone comes out which is extremely annoying. Also personally I would find it awkward to be close mates with someone gay let alone have a shower in a public place with them.

I don't agree with gay pride parades. You don't see any straight parades so why should gay people have an entire day devoted to showing off and flaunting their sexuality
