Well what a game, defence was all over the place first half, didn't help them having two man mountains up front. I thought this was Keighley worse game.

Bam bam and Dawkins were to wide allowing big spaces between themselves and Coldplay. This also stopped Norm and forsyth from overlapping.

Second half much better, Peabo and Hughes were immense. Ward was like a terrier and the goals were well taken.

Lots for mac and simmo to consider before we hit the blue noses

I've got a great customer near Cork Igor (Carrigtwohill). I usually stay in Midleton though when I'm working there.

Have a safe journey, stay-up all night and have a quick shower before you leave, you'll be right as rain

I really can't be bothered to read the match thread now (off to bed, got to actually go into the office for once tomorrow - culture shock), but can someone précis the Forest fans' comments about wheels coming off, Wally with the Brolly, Yeovil, mind the gap and stuff like that just so that I can savour the giggles that you must have had at their expense when Chris Martin (a proper striker that, whose personal haul exceeds that of all Forest's strikers added together) knocked in the winner?

Forget the score line and last minute winner...this should have been double figures!!! We absolutely peppered them from start to finish, they rode there luck all game! And when your at the bottom you usually get no luck at all but this lot did tonight, oh and add the ref to there team we played against 12 men!! Shocking!

Whole team deserves a big pat on the back, but for me Simon Dawkins was unplayable tonight, what a performance. Only thing missing, a goal ! Will Hughes (second half especially) ran the game. His passing was superb, probing on the edge of the box, no panic hughesys got it! Great composure to set up Bryson.

In the end the roof came off, fully deserved. Quality ball from brys and glancing header from Martin. You rams love it

Pat on the back to win that when not playing at our best.

1st half lack of respect for Yeovil and we got what we deserved, felt Bamford was too far forward not too far wide but Hughes and Bryson both failed to get into the game.

2nd half 4-2-4 was brave and it was nice to see Hughes and Bryson face up to some defensive responsibility Hughes actually looked a lot better sitting deeper as opposed to getting lost trying to play higher than Martin.

4-2-4 as much as I love attacking football is not going to get us in the Premiership IMO, a more creative side than Yeovil could have torn us to shreds with that formation, maybe that was Steve M playing to the opposition and if so good call but too many times we bypassed the midfield and went long when if we'd put our foot on the ball (difficult in the rain granted) we'd have walked this game.

I think the 4-3-3 needs modifying at times into a 4-2-3-1 with Hughes dropping deeper and us playing a more possession based game, especially against quality opposition. Shout out to Dawkins tonight, the way he can hold onto the ball and his creativity is a pleasure to watch.

Not a good performance for me, but a great scoreline and hopefully for an immature side this can be a mini coming of age moment.

Don't disrespect teams like Yeovil again though!!

Sheepy - you are spot on with your summing up. It was a great performance by the whole team with a ref who clearly felt the underdog needed as much help as he could give them. Don't know if you noticed but there were two identical incidents - in the first half Miller made a powerful shoulder charge on Keogh and then he scored. In the second half, Martin did exactly the same, virtually in the same spot on the grass - and the ref blew up for a foul.

It was a great game once the result restored justice to the proceedings. Dawkins was formidable for me, but everybody did really well. Ward did really well too and the competition for places shows very clearly.

Well done The Rams

Can anyone translate this please?

I can translate,

Your welcomed as in bamford, and if you get promoted you can maybe have him on loan again or even pick from piazon, atsu, loftus cheek or Traore

I'm not sure everyone thinks Bucko and especially Keogh had a good game, Mapdini!

I'm sure there'll be the usual suspects from the Happy Clapping Brigade who only remember him striding out of defence (unopposed) with tha ball and wetting themselves that he's the new Mark Wright, but the facts are that his primary role is defending and he is not very good at it, being particularly bad at it last night if the highlights, comments, commentary and general feedback are anything to go by.

Was Keogh much cop last night..?

Bucko excellent, Keogh somewhat less so, 666.

Have you lot seen our goals against. And all I keep hearing is it's Keogh fault

Don't worry we will just keep out scoring teams. Just like the bin robbers

666, why do you claim to support Derby County when pretty well every one of your posts is a pithy (at best) or a spiteful (the norm) barb at the management, players and fans?
